The Starnex CCam 2 Camera Vehicle Security Camera allows you to mount a small, discrete dual camera system to your winshield, and record out of both a forward looking camera, and a rear viewing camera with night vision infrareds. The CCam will record for up to 9 hours in high quality mode with a 8GB SD card, and up to 19 hours in low quality mode, like when you want to watch for vandals at night.

There is no internal battery, it has to be powered by the lighter. If your lighter does not work when the vehicle is off, take your vehicle to a car audio or alarm installer and they can set you up for a hot lighter.

The  Starnex CCam 2 Camera Vehicle Security Camera records both video recordings to tiny Micro SD cards, and you can either view them on your Mac or PC, or use their GPS Logger tracking software to see where the vehicle has been, with a map of the location right next to it.
