And with a 24 channel frequency "hopping" feature, the unit is always looking for the strongest signal to broadcast so you have clear wireless video.

While you don't need a computer to record the video, since either version records to SD cards in order to watch the video over the Internet or iPhone, you need a PC or Mac running Windows connected to the Internet to install the included recording & playback software. The Quad Receiver or Quad Monitor does record to SD cards, however, you need to install the software on a PC to play the video back. It won't play back in VLC Media Player or Windows Media Player video playback programs.

Simply connect the Quad Receiver or Quad Monitor to a PC with the USB cord to be able to watch remotely over a browser, or over the new iPad app! Android app is on the way.
