The MobileMate is a super-compact 4-channel mobile digital video recorder (DVR). It is designed specifically for mobile use and offers 1 channel of audio.
With a footprint of only 10.2 X 6 X 4.5 inches, the MobileMate can be mounted in trunk or other area of vehicle with little space requirement. Special built in "shock absorbers" protect hard drive from damage.
The Mobile Mate features a lockable HHD tray holds up to 500Gb HHD capable of recording hundreds of hours of video. It has a removable HDD tray for car use .

Do not buy any infrared illuminator if your camera is not an IR camera. It has to have a removable IR cut filter that slides out of the way for the camera to recognize the IR.
