The Bluetooth Earphone Digital Video Recorder looks like a normal bluetooth cell phone earphone, yet inside it contains a hidden video camera that records clear video with sound or photos.

The Bluetooth Earphone Digital Video Recorder hides a VGA 640 x 480 digital video recorder inside. Using the included fake earbud, you can pretend you are using a normal blue tooth headset, when you are secretly recording video.

The earbud has a slide switch so you can start or stop recording at any time. No one will have a clue what you are doing.

This version has 4GB of internal memory, and it works on a Mac or a PC.

Hold the bluetooth earphone DVR with the jaws pointing left, and attach it to the center edge of your shirt or jacket. Put it low, near your belt, as the camera points up slightly from the unit. Use your left hand to start and stop the video, or to take photos by pressing the status light, which is also the On/Off Switch

We did two tests, and recorded between 36-45 minutes of video in the .avi format. If you can hold the camera still, it takes very clear video with sound.

Bluetooth Earphone DVR Instructions:

Charge the Bluetooth Earphone DVR for 3 hours with the wall adapter or through the USB port. It will flash orange while it's charging and once its charged it stays solid orange.

Press the status light for 1-2 seconds and it will turn on yellow, then to solid blue. If it's yellow, it neeeds charging. It's kind of hard to push with the pad of your finger;  I have to use the edge of my nail, as the light is at the same height as the device.

Insert the earphone in the large rear port. Push the slider toward MAX. Press the status light 1x and it will flash every 3 seconds. You are now recording.

To stop recording press the status light again to turn solid blue. You can either press the light again to record more, take a photo, or turn it off.

To take a photo, slide the slider switch on the earphone cable to MIN. The status light will go off. Press the light 1x and it will blink blue and go off again. You just took a photo. Take more photos, or slide the slider back to MAX to take more video, or turn it off.

Turn it off by pressing the light for 2-3 seconds.

You can watch your video with KM Player or VLC Media Player on a PC. On a Mac, it works just fine with Quicktime.

If the device is not turning on or off, or acting funny, reset it by inserting a paper clip in the hole next to the USP port. Press lightly when it makes contact.

Changing the Time/Date On The Bluetooth Earphone DVR:

Create a file in NotePad on a PC or Text Edit on a Mac

Type the time & date according to the current time and date like this example: Wednesday Jan 10, 2010, 4:32PM. Type your version of the next line;

2010.02.10 16:32:00

Save the file as time.txt to your desktop. Connect the device with the USB cable and find the main directory. Drag the file over to the device and eject it. Turn it on & off, then on again to record a video. Your videos should have the correct time/date.
