The AXIS T8412 Installation Display is a handheld device that will allow you to quickly set up your AXIS Network IP cameras, and CCTV cameras.

The AXIS T8412 Installation Display shows you the live video from the camera, and makes setting up the focus and viewing angle a snap.

With its touch screen, soom, and snapshot functions, the AXIS T8412 Installation Display can connect directly to an IP camera, and if its PoE, it will also power the camera to set it up if the lines are not run yet.

It can also be connected as a by-pass using PoE, or through a switch. Its super friendly to use, and includes a pointer to assist you navigating the graphical interface.

It will also take a snapshot, so you can get an idea of how your entire installation will look, and even allows you to hook up an analog camera through the BNC port.

The T8412 will last for 3 hours, 2 hours with PoE. Charge it up for 3 hours to use the internal battery, or use the optional wall adapter, or car lighter adapter to power it.

Do not buy any infrared illuminator if your camera is not an IR camera. It has to have a removable IR cut filter that slides out of the way for the camera to recognize the IR.
