"I used your CMOS Miniature Camera Kit (shown below) to view clearances inside my engine. Specifically between my modified engine oil pump and oil pan. I could not take a picture of the results, however, I was able to see how much clearance there was by placing an accessory light inside the oil pan along with your camera. "I purchased the CamBall late last year, after a neighbor with two loud dogs became a problem for myself and my family. The dogs woke us up numerous times at night and disrupted our peace and quiet during the day. After talking with the owner several times and explaining to them how the barking was affecting us, they did nothing to permanently resolve it. I could see that I wasn't going to get anywhere by reasoning with them and decided to make a formal complaint, which involved going to trial.
At first, I didn't know whether I would be given a trial because I wasn't able to get any other neighbors as witnesses. Fearing that I wouldn't get a chance to resolve this in court, I decided to purchase the spy-camera to try obtaining some video evidence of the dogs barking. They were right next door and we had a clear view of them through the window. After setting up the camera with the A/C adaptor (motion sensor didn't work through the glass window), I managed to get some very clear recordings of the dogs, along with their loud barking. The night vision didn't work because there wasn't enough ambient light to record a picture, but the audio worked fine, and with the date stamp, it would show when the dogs were barking quite clearly.
I ended up being awarded a trial, without needing to produce the recordings. Nonetheless, I burning a DVD of the dogs, and sent it in to the Prosecutor as further evidence. It ended up not being used or needed in court, and I did win my trial, but it definitely helped me a lot to have the recordings, as I was more confident, knowing that even if I were to lose the trial, I would be able to produce admissible video evidence in the future if need be. I wish I hadn't needed to resort to using a spy-camera, but I'm grateful that there was something relatively affordable out there that I was able to use.

"I purchased two Diasonic DDR5300 Digital Voice Recorders and I am very pleased with my purchase. As for the DDR5300’s, I am very surprised (and thankful) that it is as easy to set up and use as it is. Sound quality is excellent using the internal microphone (what I have used so far). I purchased it for a three day convention that was to also be broadcast on an FM frequency within the immediate vicinity of the convention site. I had no problems what so ever. I was able to record each talk individually, easily and consistently. At the end of each day, I just transferred the files to my hard drive, a simple drag and drop of the files from one drive to another. Easy peasy. The Camball caught him, driving his van, bold as you please around our U shaped driveway!! Now we have the proof. We burned it to a DVD, however, the DVD does not play in our DVD player. How can I present the evidence to the authorities? I want to press charges against this guy with the proof. We are using the computer to review our files and find the KMP player compatible with Camballs files. Any help is appreciated. Also is there anyway to zoom in on a face or person in a picture as 2 other people are utilizing our property when we are not around and are unable to see them clearly d/t distance. "Golden Egg Farms is in the chicken egg business and operates a number of sites - hatchery, chicken farms and packing facilities in Western Australia.
The first couple of HIK DVRs we bought from you were just to replace a mish mash of other DVRs installed by local security companies. We standardised on HIK so all sites can be accessed within the same software app. Having an iphone app is also very handy.
This order is to setup new cameras at a remote site where young chicks are raised, plus add a few cameras at another site where they lay eggs.
The cameras are useful for security - if an alarm goes off we can login remotely and see if anything is happening. But most of the benefit is from monitoring the factory so if an accident or some incident occurs we have a visual record. Eg, accidents such as forklift crashes, checking truck arrival/departures, verifying what was loaded onto a truck vs the paperwork, and we can visually confirm stock at a remote warehouse.
The reason I buy from you is that local suppliers are too expensive - they charge around double the price of what I can buy from the USA directly. Also you have a much larger range to choose from and the website is easy to use."

"While the quality isn't as good as daylight videos, it is more than adaquate for our purposes (Dual Camera Vehicle Blackbox GPS Logger). The in cab view has a greenish tint to it, but is more the ok to observe driver behaviours. The out the dash view is excellent in more urban environments where there is of course more ambient light. In rural areas it is dimmer but certainly usable.
Also, since we started using your cameras we have been involved in 2 minor accidents with camera equipped vehicles, and in both cases the cameras 100% vindicated our drivers.

"For the last setup, everything is working extremely well (8 VersaCam SIR Cameras hooked to an 8 channel receiver). In fact, the Church had an intruder come in during a Saturday afternoon. The intruder got into a fight with some of the members and was tossed out.
The police were called ... and 20 eye-witnesses gave 20 different descriptions of the intruder. So, I pulled the recordings and I had excellent images of the intruder coming into the Church, starting a fight, etc. (Remember now, using the Blue Iris software, I am recording to hard drive 24/7 and then each 24-hour period, archiving by burning that 24 hours to DVD's.) I burned copies of the images to some CD's and gave them to law enforcement, and they were able to find and arrest the guy right away.
So, as you might imagine, the Church is incredibly happy with the security system."

To answer your questions: I don't know enough about the hidden or dvr cam market so I'm not sure about how well you guys compare with bringing out new products to the market. But as I was pricing the camstick, I found your website to be really the only one that described the product in detail and I could tell the difference between the older version and the newer version. Other sites just listed it with a price and I couldn't tell if it was the original low res version or the mid res version. So I would say that you are priced accurately, maybe even a little lower than other sites since the camstick I got from you seemed to be about $199 at other sites.
Also, I really like the website shopping cart, it was nice to have all the fields in the staggard setup on one page instead of going from one page to the next to fill everything out.
