My Spy Pen Is Stuck

If your DVR Spy Pen, Keychain DVR, or DVR Spy Watch won't turn off or on, sometimes just resetting it will take care of it.

First, find a small paper clip and pull out the outside end like this:

Then locate the reset port under the status light.

Then insert the paper clip straigh in the port and when you make contact, push gently to reset the pen.

If that does not fix it, try erasing and reformatting the drive. You can find a video on how to reformat the spy pen here.

my spy pen is not glowing blue light,when i started its glow yallow light than glow blue notmore than a second there after glow yallow light for some time and therafter off the spy pen -------------- HAVE YOU CHARGED IT FOR 3 HOURS? SOME CABLES OR ADAPTER ARE DEFECTIVE, SO STICK IT IN THE PC AND CHARGE FOR 3 HOURS. THEN TRY TO RESET WITH A PAPER CLIP IN THE HOLE BELOW THE LIGHT. TRY TO STICK IN PC AND SEE IF IT SHOWS UP. WHO DID YOU GET IT FROM ? IF US, CONTACT US FOR MORE HELP. ADMIN

I've done this, but my problem is that my computer no longer registers that there is a device when plugged in. I've done all the troubleshooting and all I get is that non-blinking yellow light that doesn't change. I've basically assumed that it's broken. ---- try sticking a paper clip in the hole below the light to reset it. Without knowing which model, or where you got it, we can't be of much help. You get what you pay for on ebay. You buy a $20 pen & you will get problems. Ours are warrantied for 1 year and they are the best out there.

I have the same problem. Orange light that never stops. But the pen is the same with this that you sell. How can I be convinced that yours will not have problems? I chose ebay in order not to have problems with customs..

I had the same problem and sent it back to the seller...he replaced it because it was defective.

The top button which you press to start recording is stuck. How do I open it up to get it back on track.

Hi,i'm having the same issue as everyone else seems to be having,with the light staying orange and not ever turning blue, since there's no real solution to this problem,i was wondering if there is anyway to recovering data off the pen? thank you

hi i read everything, i pluggit with the power button on and 3 disks apear. and i format the 3 hard disks, now nothing happens. it doesnt work. how can i fixit, i�m from argentina, and nobody seems to know
