This article will show you how to upgrade the MicroEye CamBall SG-20 & SG-21 models to Firmware Version 1.94. Here is the link to download v1.94. Just click on the link to download the file & any other files.

This version will automatically update itself to any newer version it needs, and will ask you if you want to upgrade. It will tell you that you have to rename it to "CamballManager.exe," so do that then run it.

So rename it to "CamballManager" and run the upgrade and it will work fine.

The CamBall Manager 1.94 is now standard on the currently shipping Cam Balls with the YouTube logo, and is also available as a download here. The Camball is now fully YouTube compliant and you can upload directly to YouTube from the CamBall!

Now you can install the v1.94 CamBall Manager

1. Click & download the CamBall Manager 1.94 here (3.6MB).

2. Decompress the downloaded Camball Manager and double click to open it.

3. Rename it CamballManager.

4. Connect your Cam ball to your PC with the included USB cable.

5. If your software is under v.1.94, a dialogue box pops up on your PC that says Firmware Upgrade. CamBall's firmware must be upgraded. Please select your firmware language. Choose "Confirm" to install the upgrade.

6. Follow the prompt on the dialogue box; it will say to Disconnect your Camball from your PC to finish the upgrade. You MUST use the tray icon with the green arrow that says "Safely Remove Hardware," and after you click on it, it will say you can safely remove the hardware. There is a little link there in the dialogue box that says to "Safely Remove Harware".

7. Remove the USB cable at the ball itself, not at the computer's USB port. The CamBall will not complete the upgrade if you pull the USB cord out at the computer. The USB cable must be removed from the Camball.

8. The CamBall wil stay on for about 5 seconds while it is performing the upgrade. The lights will spin around the ball and then flash before the camball then turns off, it is now upgraded.

The Upgrade should be complete.

    i cant get the downloadable software, the link is dead!! My Camball disc only has 5 pdf's on it, no other files!! PLEASE HELP!

    right-click and download EXE file... For me it produces an error when I run it "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction" Don't know what that's all about.
