Hosted Video Recording (HVR) uses the latest technology, and the most advanced AXIS Network IP cameras to offer you a cost effective, comprehensive video surveillance solution that is hosted on remote servers that are so secure, they put Fort Knox to shame.
The migration to subscription-based video surveillance with off-site storage, has every advantage of IP Network video surveillance while getting rid of the high costs and complex set-up. Can you imagine a video surveillance system that you can operated and managed from a web-browser or smar tphone, from anywhere the internet reaches?
The best part is no additional hardware or software is needed. Plug an HVR-enabled network camera into any broadband router, and it will auto negotiate with our HVR servers. No extra configuration necessary.
No software to install, no IP addresses to find, routers to configure, firewalls to break through, nothing. And we will do all the work for you. We will send you cameras that are ready to mount, and all you gotta do is hook them up to an Internet switch, connected to your router.
Benefits:
Now choose an AXIS Camera! This service currently only works with the following AXIS cameras.
The Hosted Video Recording program is perfect for small business owners with multiple locations. Imaging being able to set up a couple cameras at each of your stores, and not have to lay out an arm and a leg for multiple NVR's. You can pull up all of your cameras on one conveient control panel, or on your iPhone, Blackberry, or Android smart phone.
Homeowners can quickly set up 1-4 cameras to cover inside and out, and watch what is going on at work, with clear, high quality images, and no NVR to buy.

Enterprise business applications are great for 1-2 critical cameras as back-up that can be easily accessed by anyone, and will still record even if your NVR or DVR goes out, or there is a fire, or it is stolen by the theives. Allows you to also move into the IP camera era with a low cost of ownership to "test the water."
In figuring out how many cameras you can set up, first, you need to test your upload speeds. We went to Speedtest.net. Our upload speed on our DSL line is 1.4MB/s. Each camera will take about 250kbs, so 4 cameras can run fine if you can exceed a 1MB per second range.
