  • will a 2 gig sd card work in a camera that says 1 gig max?

      it probably means 1 gig internal memory, but if it means what it said, than get a new card

      yes but will only use 1 gig of the 2gig memory

      The results are somewhat unpredictable.

      1) It might work fine

      2) It might use 1 GB of the 2GB capacity

      3) It might say something like card not formatted or damaged.

      It won’t hurt the card or the camera to try it, so if you can borrow one, try it and see.
