We had a customer have trouble getting his GeoVision 4MP Fisheye IP Camera to work. Seems you have to do a couple things first in order to get them to work over PoE or power over ethernet.
These are ceiling mount cameras that can give you a 360 degree view of a room, or focus on 1/2 the room, or different quarters.

If you can’t access the camera over Internet Explorer, you can get them to work by changing the IP address of the camera to the same as the router. There is a program on the cd where you can change the IP address of the camera. The camera also works under Windows XP professional. a Black and White problem can be solved in video installation in the web browser.
You have to access the camera through Internet Explorer because it’s using ActiveX technology. Also, on windows 7, UAC need to be temporarily disabled when running the browser for the first time. We also installed the NVR software and had no issues. 64 bit OS seems to be a requirement. We also tested with 32 bit OS but it looks like B/W – Color switch modes do not work properly.
We put up a video on YouTube showing a product walk-through. Check it out; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt4j8NO103M
