It really disgusts me how President Bush has now become Dictator Bush, or Little Hitler. He no longer cares about the carefully set up checks & balances that our Republic is suppose to function under. He no gives a damn about our Constitution and our rights to privacy.
Bush Moves to Shield Telecommunications Firms
President Bush said last week that telecommunications companies that helped government wiretapping efforts need protection from “class-action plaintiff attorneys” who see a “financial gravy train” ahead. Democrats and privacy groups responded by accusing the Bush administration of trying to shut down the lawsuits to hide evidence of illegal acts.
But in the bitter Washington dispute over whether to give the companies legal immunity, there is one thing on which both sides agree: If the lawsuits go forward, sensitive details about the scope and methods of the Bush administration’s surveillance efforts could be divulged for the first time.
Nearly 40 lawsuits, consolidated into five groups, are pending before a San Francisco judge. The various plaintiffs, a mix of nonprofit civil liberties advocates and private attorneys, are seeking to prove that the Bush administration engaged in illegal massive surveillance of Americans’ e-mails and phone calls after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and to show that major phone companies illegally aided the surveillance, including the disclosure of customers’ call records.
He ignores his Constitutional restrictions, like Article I, and will invade any country he wants, even though only Congress has the official power to declare war.
He ignores the 4th Amendment to the Bill of Rights and is demanding the cowards in Congress pass his abusive snooping laws that will ignore our GOD given rights to privacy and grant immunity to the Telecom companies who willfully helped the Dictator snoop on us for years.
We created the Government, Dictator Bush, just like Dr. Frankenstein, and now you are running amok and causing problems for us. Maybe it’s time to kill the beast (Our broken system, not the Dictator)?
The other day, I forget where I was, I saw a creepy commercial on T.V. about how we are doomed if Congress doesn’t pass the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). I know it was not at home, as I disconnected the TV and only watch movies. Who is putting up the money for this; The Telco’s? The Executive branch? Why are there even commercials to be broadcast, as we don’t have any way to change any of this.
Even though it’s our Government, FISA has operated in pure secrecy for years and the two really bad parts of this bill that Bush wants in there are:
1. Removes the power to issue the wiretaps from the court, to the Executive branch, abusing the balance of power. Now Dictator Bush can spy on any of us with complete immunity.
2. Gives Retroactive immunity to all Telco’s who gave our private data to the Executive branch, violating our God given right to privacy. You will not be able to sue your Telco for giving your info to the government so they can use it against you.
Why don’t we just have a Constitution shredding party to celebrate???
The Senate has rubber stamped it, Congress appears to backtrack on not passing it, so we are screwed, well not completely.
I’ve talked about the Comsec C3i-II before, and will keep focusing on a great invention that is the only device that will identify when the Teleco’s are listening to you from their switching stations.
What AT&T and the NSA is doing at their switching stations, until recently, has been practically impossible to identify when a slave or bridge is in use on your phone. The common wiretap detectors / defeators will not indicate slave or bridge taps. Even a Time-Domain Reflectometer (TDR – $10,000+) will not show this type of tap if it is placed some distance from the target phone.
The COMSEC C3I-II is a newly patented telephone countermeasures device that will show the presence of these types of taps, even if they are located as far away as the phone company’s central office. It is the first and only telephone line security device that can detect remote extension drawn loops, one of the most sophisticated, threatening, and common type of electronic surveillance that other security devices can not detect.
The COMSEC C3I-II is the only telephone security device that will detect legal as well as illegal wiretapping anywhere on the local telephone line, including the Telephone Company’s Central Exchange.
Now you can detect computer hackers trying to compromise your network, as well as others who are using the telephone company’s central exchange switching equipment to intercept your private communications. The COMSEC C3I-II installs in seconds with a standard modular connections. It will protect your Telephones, Computers, and Fax telecommunications continuously against illegal wiretaps.
The COMSEC C3I-II works by detecting wiretaps / eavesdropping at the beginning and ending of a telephone call. When the phone rings, be on the look out for any remote extension drawn loop wiretap to seize the line between the cadence ringing, usually between the first and third ring, creating a connection reaction.
Once the call is terminated, watch the C3I and count the number of disconnection reactions on the line. The COMSEC C3I-II can detect legal and illegal wiretapping on your telephone line by establishing either a normal signature pattern or an abnormal signature pattern resulting from additional telephone lines / wiretapping equipment disconnecting from your telephone line.
While all that is a lot of $5 words, the bottom line is this product works to detect wiretaps that no other method can find. If you think our Government compromises your security, your phone company, or you are a victim of corporate espionage, you need the COMSEC C3I-II to monitor your phone lines. Pick up one from our website and protect your privacy.
