Navy Commander Given Reduced Sentence For Taping Cadets Having Sex

    March 11th, 2008

This is a follow up to a prior blog post where we reported a Navy Commander was accused of secretly using a hidden camera to tape Naval Academy midshipmen having sex with their girlfriends that he allowed to stay at his house.

Less Time for Navy Doc’s Illicit Tapes

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The military has reduced a prison sentence for a Navy doctor convicted of using a hidden camera to record Naval Academy midshipmen having sex, a Navy spokesman said Monday.

Cmdr. Kevin Ronan, sentenced to three years and 10 months, will serve two years if he is a model prisoner, said Guy Schein, a spokesman for the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery in Washington, where Ronan was assigned.

A military jury in November convicted Rowan of conduct unbecoming an officer, illegal wiretapping and obstruction of justice. The jury gave him the 46-month term in the Navy brig and ordered his dismissal from the military.

Vice Adm. Adam M. Robinson, the Navy’s surgeon general, decided last week that two years in prison was adequate, Schein said.

I have shown you time & time again that you that when you are not at home, you can be recorded in compromising situations if you are not aware of your surroundings. Hidden cameras are everywhere, and you really need to protect your privacy, especially if you are a lady.

The best way to do that is with a very small, discrete device called a hidden bug detector. A hidden bug detector can check for hidden microphones, and hidden cameras, and identify them for you, so you can avoid being a victim and have your naughty bits blasted all over YouTube.

One of our best hidden bug detectors is a dual mode hidden camera detector. You want to use a dual mode hidden bug detector because it will allowy you to find any wireless signals to identify hidden cameras or microphones, it also uses a Infrared LED effect that will identify any camera, wired or wireless. Our favorite is called the The LensFinder/RF Dual Mode Hidden Camera Detector.

The LensFinder/RF Dual Mode Hidden Camera Detector

The LensFinder/ combines the latest laser frequency visual detection methods, as well as detecting the wide band radio frequency (RF) of wireless video and/or audio transmitters (bugs), in an easy to use hidden bug detector. Turn on the LensFinder and perform a sweep of the room with it in wireless bug detection. It has a signal strength meter that will pinpoint any device giving off an electronic signal.

The LensFinder/RF Dual Mode Hidden Camera Detector is a great tool to protect your privacy. Find out more information on our website.

Your Right To Privacy Just Vanished

    March 10th, 2008

An incredible technology that allows a video surveillance camera to see under your clothes for metallic and non-metallic items is going to change how we live from now on. A company called ThruVision has invented a camera that uses “passive imaging technology,” to identify what is under your cloths, and I am sure, in your house or vehicle.

This camera can identify an object by the natural electromagnetic rays it emits. Everything emits these rays, called Terahertz or T-rays, and it comes from research by astronomers into dying stars. These rays fall somewhere in-between infrared and microwaves on the electromagnetic spectrum, and will go through clouds, walls, and I guess clothes.

Hmmm, clouds and walls? That means it can be modified to fit on a plane or drone and have it fly around above the clouds to snoop in your house? Luckily it only works up to 80 feet away, though that’s still pretty far. While this will be a great item for sports events, conventions, and other places they need to screen for weapons, the use of it by say a police car driving up & down the neighborhood really sends shivers up my spine.

It can tell the difference between metallic and no-metallic objects, and can even detect the difference between flour and cocaine. This technology has its place, though if it’s used as an instrument of control, especially by a repressive government to disarm a populace, that would not be good.

Only The Comsec C3i-II Can Detect Telephone Company Wiretaps

    March 6th, 2008

It really disgusts me how President Bush has now become Dictator Bush, or Little Hitler. He no longer cares about the carefully set up checks & balances that our Republic is suppose to function under. He no gives a damn about our Constitution and our rights to privacy.

Bush Moves to Shield Telecommunications Firms
President Bush said last week that telecommunications companies that helped government wiretapping efforts need protection from “class-action plaintiff attorneys” who see a “financial gravy train” ahead. Democrats and privacy groups responded by accusing the Bush administration of trying to shut down the lawsuits to hide evidence of illegal acts.

But in the bitter Washington dispute over whether to give the companies legal immunity, there is one thing on which both sides agree: If the lawsuits go forward, sensitive details about the scope and methods of the Bush administration’s surveillance efforts could be divulged for the first time.

Nearly 40 lawsuits, consolidated into five groups, are pending before a San Francisco judge. The various plaintiffs, a mix of nonprofit civil liberties advocates and private attorneys, are seeking to prove that the Bush administration engaged in illegal massive surveillance of Americans’ e-mails and phone calls after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and to show that major phone companies illegally aided the surveillance, including the disclosure of customers’ call records.

He ignores his Constitutional restrictions, like Article I, and will invade any country he wants, even though only Congress has the official power to declare war.

He ignores the 4th Amendment to the Bill of Rights and is demanding the cowards in Congress pass his abusive snooping laws that will ignore our GOD given rights to privacy and grant immunity to the Telecom companies who willfully helped the Dictator snoop on us for years.

We created the Government, Dictator Bush, just like Dr. Frankenstein, and now you are running amok and causing problems for us. Maybe it’s time to kill the beast (Our broken system, not the Dictator)?

The other day, I forget where I was, I saw a creepy commercial on T.V. about how we are doomed if Congress doesn’t pass the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). I know it was not at home, as I disconnected the TV and only watch movies. Who is putting up the money for this; The Telco’s? The Executive branch? Why are there even commercials to be broadcast, as we don’t have any way to change any of this.

Even though it’s our Government, FISA has operated in pure secrecy for years and the two really bad parts of this bill that Bush wants in there are:

    1. Removes the power to issue the wiretaps from the court, to the Executive branch, abusing the balance of power. Now Dictator Bush can spy on any of us with complete immunity.

    2. Gives Retroactive immunity to all Telco’s who gave our private data to the Executive branch, violating our God given right to privacy. You will not be able to sue your Telco for giving your info to the government so they can use it against you.

Why don’t we just have a Constitution shredding party to celebrate???

The Senate has rubber stamped it, Congress appears to backtrack on not passing it, so we are screwed, well not completely.

I’ve talked about the Comsec C3i-II before, and will keep focusing on a great invention that is the only device that will identify when the Teleco’s are listening to you from their switching stations.

What AT&T and the NSA is doing at their switching stations, until recently, has been practically impossible to identify when a slave or bridge is in use on your phone. The common wiretap detectors / defeators will not indicate slave or bridge taps. Even a Time-Domain Reflectometer (TDR – $10,000+) will not show this type of tap if it is placed some distance from the target phone.

The COMSEC C3I-II is a newly patented telephone countermeasures device that will show the presence of these types of taps, even if they are located as far away as the phone company’s central office. It is the first and only telephone line security device that can detect remote extension drawn loops, one of the most sophisticated, threatening, and common type of electronic surveillance that other security devices can not detect.

    COMSEC C31-11

The COMSEC C3I-II is the only telephone security device that will detect legal as well as illegal wiretapping anywhere on the local telephone line, including the Telephone Company’s Central Exchange.

Now you can detect computer hackers trying to compromise your network, as well as others who are using the telephone company’s central exchange switching equipment to intercept your private communications. The COMSEC C3I-II installs in seconds with a standard modular connections. It will protect your Telephones, Computers, and Fax telecommunications continuously against illegal wiretaps.

The COMSEC C3I-II works by detecting wiretaps / eavesdropping at the beginning and ending of a telephone call. When the phone rings, be on the look out for any remote extension drawn loop wiretap to seize the line between the cadence ringing, usually between the first and third ring, creating a connection reaction.

Once the call is terminated, watch the C3I and count the number of disconnection reactions on the line. The COMSEC C3I-II can detect legal and illegal wiretapping on your telephone line by establishing either a normal signature pattern or an abnormal signature pattern resulting from additional telephone lines / wiretapping equipment disconnecting from your telephone line.

While all that is a lot of $5 words, the bottom line is this product works to detect wiretaps that no other method can find. If you think our Government compromises your security, your phone company, or you are a victim of corporate espionage, you need the COMSEC C3I-II to monitor your phone lines. Pick up one from our website and protect your privacy.

Hidden Camera Steals Your PIN Numbers When You Fill Up

    March 4th, 2008

Under the ever vigilent category, you can never be too careful when you enter your PIN number when you buy something. This gas station in the U.K. had a camera installed to record peoples PIN numbers, so they can clone the cards.

HIDDEN CAMERA THEORY ON BANK CARD SCAM
Police believe a hidden camera was used to record customers’ PIN numbers at a Lincoln garage at the centre of a fraud ring.

More than 200 people have been stung by the scam.

Lincolnshire Police officers found a hole drilled in the ceiling above the Chip and PIN machine at the Pace BP petrol station on Doddington Road.

The information was then used to clone the cards.

And I remember reading about theives that put up fake card slots on ATM & Self-Pay at gas stations. You insert a card in a reader that is designed to blend into the ATM or Pay-at-the-Pump device, and it steals your data.

So now you not only have to pull and tug at every ATM & Pay-at-the-Pump to make sure it’s not stuck on with velcro or tape, you have to hide and shield your PIN completely with your hands so no hidden camera can record it.

Hidden Digital Audio Recorder Catches Abusive Teacher In The Act

    February 28th, 2008

An interesting store here from Houston, TX, where a mother who was concerned that her 4 year old daughter was being suspended from school for actions she never did around the house.

Teacher to 4-Year-Olds: ‘You Are All Just Stupid Kids’
A Texas Mother Wanted to Know Why Her Well-Behaved Daughter Was Acting Up in School

A Houston mother, who said her daughter was well-behaved at home, was worried about what was going on in her child’s classroom because the girl had been suspended four times for bad behavior.
    Video
Teacher: ‘Y’all Are Just Stupid Kids’

So, Diana Mijares decided to secretly bug her daughter’s backpack and was shocked to hear what was on the tape.

“It made us concerned,” Mijares said on “Good Morning America” today. “It was enough and we needed answers.”

Megan Mijares’ digital tape recorded mostly mundane moments at Memorial Elementary School’s prekindergarten class, but then it captured the teacher yelling at the group of 4- and 5-year-olds. All of it happened without Megan’s or her teacher’s knowledge.

“You’re just a bad kid,” the teacher says on the six-hour tape. “You’re mean to me, so I get to be mean to you.”

The teacher, who was not identified, continues to harshly scold the children.

“You are all just stupid kids. I swear to God,” the teacher says. “You are just all stupid kids.”

It’s amazing all the things you can do with a digital audio recorder. O.J. Simpson was recently recorded on a micro voice recorder talking about the robber he was recently accused of.

We carry a wide variety of digital voice recorders, and some of our most favorite are the Diasonic DDR-5K Pro Digital Recorder.

The Diasonic DDR-5K Voice Bank is about the size of a candy bar, and has a ton of features, besides recording your voice and conversations, it also works great as a telephone recorder, MP3 Player, FM Radio recorder/player, and pocket hard drive!

Diasonic Voice Bank Digital Audio Recorder

You can record up to 565 hours on the top of the line 2GB model, which means over 1,000 recordings can be saved to internal memory. It records near CD quality recordings @ a 32Kbps digital sampling rate. It’s got a “one-touch toggle” makes all playback functions, including volume, fast forward and reverse a snap, since it works like the old scroll wheel on the iPods.

It’s got an internal speaker, so you can hear what you record, and it’s great for recording the famous “note to self,” where you can record those thoughts of brilliance that hit you when you are driving or away from a pen & paper. Or, start recording if pulled over by law enforcement to record the conversation, just in case things get ugly and you have proof you can use later. There are so many different ways to use the this cool toy that after a while, you won’t leave home without it!

You can set it up in a room, and as long as you use lithium ion batteries, it will record for hours, so you too can record the conversations you always wanted to, or catch a teach or instructor abusing your child.

It will also record any call you make on the phone. Just plug in your telephone line and start recording. To find our more information on the Diasonic DDR-5K Pro Digital Recorder, visit our website.

More Women Believe Their Husbands Are Cheating

    February 26th, 2008

An interesting trend is the amount of women that are hiring PI’s to find out if their husbands are cheating. Being unfaithful has become one of the main reasons for divorce, according to a survey of divorce attorneys.

More women hiring private investigators to spy on cheating husbands
A survey of divorce lawyers shows that extra-marital affairs are still the main reason for marriage break-ups in Britain

Women are increasingly employing private investigators to check on their cheating husbands, a new survey of divorce lawyers shows today.

With extra-marital affairs the main reason for the break-up of marriage, more than two in three lawyers surveyed last year had at least one client who had used a private investigator to find out if their spouse was being unfaithful.

In two thirds of the cases it was women who were checking on husbands, the survey of 100 lawyers by Grant Thornton’s forensic and investigation services shows.

Andrea McLaren, head of the firm’s matrimonial practice, said: “Marriages are meant to be built on trust, yet this figure shows this is not always the case. While it might seem an extreme length to go to use a private investigator, people just want to know the truth, even if it hurts.”
    Related Links

The practice might have been boosted by publicity last year of how Tamara Mellon, the founder of the shoe designer Jimmy Choo, was watched by private investigators hired by her husband, Matthew Mellon, during an acrimonious divorce.

But Ms McClaren said: “However this is not just about the rich and famous — this is about everyday people using means to ensure they know their spouse is being faithful.”

The annual survey shows that for the fifth year running, extra-marital affairs were the main cited reason given by couples seeking divorce. In 2007, almost one third, or 29 per cent, of marriages broke down due to unfaithfulness by one partner.

It is sad that people can’t remain faithful to their spouse. If they need other partners, don’t get married. If you feel your spouse has been unfaithful, there are a number of ways you can find out that we will be outlining in the next few days.

One of the best is to use a forensic SIM card recovery reader to see who your partner has been calling and any deleted text messages on their mobile phone.

    SIM Card Recovery Pro

The SIM Card Recovery Pro allows you to view the last 10 dialed numbers on your partner or employees mobile phone, and any deleted text messages. The exact number varies between manufacturer.

You must make sure the phone is recording to the SIM card and not memory, otherwise this won’t read anything, because there is nothing to read. You can quickly scan the manual or play with the menu to find out how to record everything to the SIM.

This also works great to limit the phone to dialing specific numbers, perfect for teenagers phones, and you can use it to back up your phone book & text messages to your computer or another SIM card.

If you need to see what’s going on with your better half on their mobile phone, the SIM Card Recovery Pro is your answer. Find out more information on our site and if you order in the next 48 hours, we will knock off $10 off the price, though you must mention the discount in the comments when you check out or you wont’ get the discount.
