    Happy Halloween From EyeSpyPro

    Monday, October 26th, 2009

This year keep your goblins safe, & make sure you have a good outdoor camera with night vision like the The VersaCam LiveView Super IR Weatherproof Camera to make sure punks don’t go smashing your pumpkins.

I am sure some people drop a lot of coin on Halloween decorations, only to wake up one morning to see them stolen or destroyed. That would burn my burrito if it was my stuff. If you want a quick and easy way to get set up with a great quality night vision camera in less than an hour, so you can see if any of the local zombies start tearing up your yard decorations.

The VersaCam LiveView Super IR Weatherproof Camera
The VersaCam LiveView Super IR Weatherproof Camera

The VersaCam Super IR is about the size of a coffee can and has a ton of infrareds so it will see well at night. The IR’s glow red, and we put a video here called: What Does An Infrared Illuminator Look Like At Night to show you what they look like.

All you gotta do is run some power to it. They still make those screw in plugs if you have an old flood light you are not using. Then the Super IR will send wireless signals to a little box that gets plugged into a TV or the USB port on your PC. It won’t work on a Mac. Install the Blue Iris software and you can see the camera during the day or night.

If you want to be master of your property, set up a VersaCam Super IR, and sleep safe at night like one of our customers who has a similar set up:

"I wanted to let you that with the installation of the night vision/DVR combo we ordered from you we now feel more secure in our home. There had been some break-ins in recent weeks in our neighborhood. With this system we are able to monitor any activity outside of our home at night while we sleep and when we are not at home. Thank you,"

    George Gray Bloomington, IN

I could not have done better if I made it up myself.

    Oh yeah, I almost forgot…

    Punks Messing With Your Ride???

    Thursday, August 20th, 2009

We had yet another call today from a man who’s wife met up somehow with a jerk who is now keying her Surburban and pouring soda on it, which messes up the paint. He’s done it a couple of times times & this guy has to take time out of his day to file Police reports.

And, he’s worried the jerk will get his car. So we were talking about a new product we mentioned last month, the Rear View Mirror Vehicle Surveillance System With Two Cameras And DVR that clips onto your rear view mirror to help catch punks that want to damage your car or truck.

Well we found out that the 2nd camera that comes with it is wired & wireless. It’s got a tiny transmitter inside that will send the signal to the Mirror DVR, which has a receiver inside of it. With the push of a button, it will show either the front camera, which hangs off the lower right corner & rotates 330 degrees, or the completely moveable 2nd camera with built in IR’s for night recording.

Just move the 2nd camera to the dash, rear deck, next to the head rest, or wherever you want. Just run the power wire to any 12v source and it’s always on. You might want to take it to a car stereo shop, and have them install an inline on/off switch, so you can turn it off when you are not using it.

It also works great to record road rage. Just swivel that little camera over at the idiot next to you to capture anythign on video.

And we also told you about the Dual Camera Vehicle Blackbox GPS Logger a really neat GPS Logger based device that has two cameras, and can record both front & rear views at the same time. We will go put up some videos of the camera for you in just a few minutes.

Either way, if some punk is messing with your ride, and you are are tired of damage to your car, or want to set up something now, before a vandal strikes, you can get more info on the Rear View Mirror Vehicle Surveillance System With Two Cameras And DVR here, or the Dual Camera Vehicle Blackbox GPS Logger With G Sensor Recorder And Audio.

How To Catch A Flag Burning Punk

    Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

We read with pure disgust that some punks went around and burned four flags in a quiet Laguna Niguel, CA neighborhood.

Then we see that the same thing is happening in Dallas, Texas as well. A man comes home to find his flag a pile of ashes. Only this time, it’s the 2nd time his flag was burned.

The first time, an Iraq veteran donated a flag that flew over his base camp to the man, though luckily that was not the one that was not burned.

I am a veteran that served four active years, two in Fulda, Germany, keeping tanks & trunks humming just in case the Russians blew in through the “Fulda Gap.” Five years after the Baader-Meinhof gang arrested, and we are walking guard at some ammo dump in the middle of nowhere, in cold that makes your feet numb so bad you can not feel them, with a M-16 with no ammo.

Anyway, I am completely disgusted that any flags are burned & the culprits are probably young men who watch too many violent video games and have absolutely no life. Flags are the symbol of the people that make up a country, with all it’s hopes & dreams captured in a banner. I love flags; they are beautiful & I enjoy the diversity of our world and it’s people and it’s flags.

And it all gets vaporized in a few minutes by some immature punk. I really wanted to talk about a new movie called The Hurt Locker, which is about a solider who goes around diffusing roadside bombs in Iraq. It’s gritty and pretty realistic, and it’s not playing in that many theaters, so you will have to hunt it down.

Though if you are concerned that the vandalism is eventually going to reach your neighborhood, or if you have already been vandalized, then we have an inexpensive wireless outdoor camera with infrareds is just you need to light up the night.

The VersaCam LiveView 36 Infrared Wireless Outdoor Camera is a little color bullet wireless camera that can see up to 50 feet at night in the dark, and several hundred feet during the day. What’s great about the VersaCam LiveView is that you don’t have to drop a grand on a surveillance system.

The VersaCam LiveView 36 Infrared Wireless Outdoor Camera

The VC/36 trasmits the wireless signals to a little box that plugs into the USB port of your computer. Actually, you install the drivers first, then you plug in the box & power it up. It can accept up to 4 cameras, though you can not see them split screen, only one at a time ever 3.5 seconds.

We installed the drivers, powered the base & installed this Blue Iris software that you use to see the cameras. This is a pretty slick program, and you get it for free. We hooked up one small box camera, as we are waiting on a VC/36 to test.

Then you find a spot outside to put the camera. You can put one pointing @ the front door, and one pointing out the front yard or driveway as well. It can take up to four, though it only shows one @ a time every 3.5 seconds. We will hook up 2, 3 & 4 total to see how it works with that much video and if it records all the time, or just when it shows the camera. It’s limited, though for a couple camera set-up for people on a budget, or just don’t want to drop big coin on some cameras, it WILL do the job of filming your local punks.

Then you set up the software and tell it to use the driver you installed & you can see the image. What’s great is that it has motion detection, so it can send you a variety of alerts when something moves in front of the camera.

Put it at your front door, and you can see who is there from any Internet connection in the building, or the world! You can choose to get email or text messaging alerts to your phone, as well as audio alerts over the computers loudspeaker. It also turns a camera into a webcam.

So you put one of these little guys out front, and point it at your flag. IF some punks come around and mess with your car, boat, truck, RV, pink plastic flamingos, halloween decorations, baby Jesus, or garden Trolls, then you got them on record because the Blue Iris software is recording the video to disc.

Now you have something to burn to a DVD to give to the Coppers when they show up. Protect your flag, your car, and your property from vandals and punks with the super easy to use and set up VersaCam VC/36 video surveillance camera.

Self Contained Car Vandalism Surveillance Solutions

    Thursday, April 16th, 2009

We are getting a TON of calls from people who are having problems with punks scratching their names and other wonderful things on their cars! Imagine that; in any other country, they might cut off that hand. That sure would stop someone, eh?

So we found this great line of video surveillance cameras for INSIDE the car. These self-contained Car Vandalism Surveillance cameras are put inside everyday items found inside your car. There is also a digital video recorder that records the video for later use.

No SD cards to mess with, just plug in the USB cable and you can view your videos.

There are a few different ones to choose from; my favorite is the dice ashtray car vandalism camera. Inside an innocent looking dice ashtray lies a video camera and DVR that can record for up to 8 hours.

Dice Ashtray Car Surveillance Camera With Built in DVR
Dice Ashtray Car Surveillance Camera With Built in DVR

Unfortunately, there is no motion detection, however, 8 hours is a long time and you should be able to film the punk who is messing with your ride.

Also, the Clip on Car Mirror Car Surveillance Camera With Built in DVR is great for catching some idiot in a road rage situation. When you have your visor down like it’s blocking the sun, the clip-on mirror films your face. Turn it to the left, like it’s blocking the sun on the left side of your face if you are the driver, and you are filming the moron next to you.

In Southern California, I need that as there are no shortage of aggressive drivers that hog the road. If they do something stupid like pull a gun or try to hit you, you have a DVR filming their every move..

These also work great for RV’s, boats, or trucks. Find out more information on the full range of Car Surveillance Camera’s that can film any vandalism that happens to your car.

Anyone else having problems with punks messing with their vehicles?
