While it’s small, its clear and you can make out who you are looking for, otherwise we really like 640 x 480 because it takes up less room than 720 x 480, and you can record more video. Only use 720 x 480 if you need wide shots.

This tiny pocked DVR works with many of our wired miniature cameras, and can also be used for long term stationary stake-outs with motion activation. Time & Date stamps are standard, and it weighs less than 1/2 lb.

The Bluetooth Earphone DVR Easily Records Covert Video

You gotta love those Chinese, not only do they party for 2 weeks during their New Year, virtually shutting down all commerce between any company in any other country, they also come up with an endless stream of DVR Spy Cameras hidden in practically every possible product. Now we have the Bluetooth Earphone Digital Video Recorder, an innocent looking bluetooth earphone with a camera with audio hidden inside.

We charged it up for about 2 hours, since the blinking yellow status light stopped blinking. It recorded between 38 & 45 minutes on two tries, and it takes pretty clear video with audio. The video is large, 640 x 480, and its just under 30 frames per second, so it’s pretty clear. There is a little audio artifacts, though you can hear conversations up to about 10-15 feet away.

We posted sample videos & pictures on its page, and it was easy to use. It’s a clip device, so hold it in your right hand and clip to your shirt or jacket. Put it down near your belt for 2 reasons. 1; The video shoots up slightly, and if you hold it at chest height, or clip it at chest level, you will get a lot of ceiling shots, or peoples bald heads. And the light won’t be so noticeable lower. The light will blink blue every 3 seconds in video mode.

To switch to photo mode, take the fake earphone, and it has a slider switch on it that is suppose to be the volume control. Push it down to MIN setting, and now you can take a photo ever time you push the button.

We have been looking for a long life pocket DVR with button camera that can record longer than 2 hours and we finally found one. We have been working with a law enforcement agency in California that needed to film the officers daily routines, and the other kits only go about 2 hours. We tried the Sleek Sunglasses Hidden Camera Video Recorder, and they only got 5 hours of recording, though they were slightly too wide for California law! They can’t wear them on duty if they are wider than a certain width.

"Hog Fat" I screamed, “We have tried everything; what else can we test?” Then we stumbled onto this little gem.

You get a whole kit in a slick little aluminum suit case so you can haul it around or toss the whole kit in the back seat. Just charge up the batteries, both internal DVR and external battery and you are ready to go. The DVR has status lights on the front lower left to tell you when it’s charged & the battery has a light that lets you know when it’s charged.

Then just slide the DVR onto the battery pack and tighten down the round wheel you see above to lock it into the DVR. Turn both on, and using the record button, or RF wireless remote, start recording.

You can also set this up in a room and using a screw head, mount it somewhere. It has a 57 inch cord from the camera to the plug, or you can use your own covert camera, 5 or 12V and the DVR will power them if the have 3 rings.

If you need to record covert video surveillance with a body worn camera, or to set up one somewhere there is no electricity, and you gotta record for a long time, you can’t go wrong with the 6 Hour Pocket DVR With Button Camera Kit.

This one is pretty slick; about the size of a small cube, the Car Camera Trip Recorder is a great way to record where you go in your car, truck, company vehicle, bicycle, motorcycle, or anything else you can mount this little video camera with built in LCD monitor.

5 Solid Hours Of Video Surveillance With The Sleek Sunglasses Hidden Camera Video Recorder

We were skeptical of the 5 hour claim that the Sleek Sunglasses Hidden Camera Video Recorder says it can record for, so we charged her up and let her run.

By cracky, it recorded 4 hours & 48 minutes of very clear 3gp video with audio at almost 30 fps indoors! This is a record, as most if not all of our other Spy products except for the battery powered Organizer purse or Tissue box, or the professional grade SleuthGear Recluse, CubeCam, or SecureShot Battery Powered Hidden Cameras peter out at the 60-80 minute mark.

And the audio was clear with no murps, moans, or sounding like it’s underwater or from Star Wars. We posted two sample movies on our site for you to download.

It recorded all that to the internal 2GB memory. You can use an SD card that will override the internal memory, if you want to take it with you, otherwise use the included USB cable and the built in USB port to download the video to your Mac or PC; it works fine on Apple computers and Quicktime since it’s the 3gp format.

What’s great about the Sleek Sunglasses Hidden Camera Video Recorder is that you can use it to record meetings, trade shows, picnics, family events like birthday parties or anniversaries, or it makes the perfect field surveillance camera for you Coppers or gum shoes.

The on/off button & start button are both on the left side for easy access, and the USB port is on the bottom of the left frame, so its hard to see. There are two status lights, and the record one will be near your left eye, and it blinks blue so you know you are recording. If you are in dark places, the lights could give you away, though like any of these spy cameras, they don’t record that great in dark places.

If you are looking for the longest battery life, in a discrete, easy to use video spy camera for any LEGAL reason, the Sleek Sunglasses Hidden Camera Video Recorder hits the mark. As always, never use these for illegal purposes, as you will go to jail when caught.

New Pics & Videos From The 4th Generation Business Portable Recorder Video Spy Pen

We finally found a few minutes to upload some sample images from the 4th generation Business Portable Recorder Video Spy Pen.

We posted videos, jpg pictures, and a WAV file. We found the pen real easy to use. It quickly moves from video to photo mode with a push of the button. If you want to record audio, you have to unscrew the top and slide a switch, so that will be a little noticeable if you are in a meeting.

It also has gold trim now, so it will go with any of your accessories or bling bling.
