How much work did the servo motor do?

    Monday, December 29th, 2008
    yesssitsbritt asked:

A robot arm that controls the position of a
video camera in an automated surveillance
system is manipulated by a servo motor that
    exerts a force on a push-rod.
    The force is given by
    F(x) = x2 ,
where x is the position of the end of the push-
    rod.
    If the push-rod moves from x1 = 0 m to
x2 = 17 m, how much work did the servo
    motor do?
    Answer in units of J.
    Note: F(x)=x^2 ……not x2

My home has been turned into a huge electromagnetic field…the lampshades are moving and all cords plugged into outlets. This is being used to transmit waves through wireless cameras.
