Seems the old idea of every man throughout Asia having a mistress is about to go 21st century. Many executives & politicians are picking up hidden camera finders to protect their sexual liaisons.
KUALA LUMPUR: The latest must-have among politicians, corporate bigwigs and others anxious about their privacy are cheap and fits snugly into one’s palm. Eight days after a minister admitted that a sex DVD featured him, anti-spy electronic devices are being sold like hot cakes, especially to people in power.
Former health minister Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek’s revelation that he and a woman had been secretly filmed while having sex has led to many trying to avoid a similar fate.
More than 1,000 such devices that can detect hidden CCTV cameras and handphones, have been sold here since news of Dr Chua’s indiscretions made headlines.
It is learnt that several prominent businessmen and politicians who visit China regularly on work or on holiday have been using the device in their bedrooms. Even a minister has bought a unit “as it is very difficult to identify one’s enemies, especially in politics”.
“People who are out to topple you in politics will resort to anything including recording or filming who you see and what you say,” he said.
Then we see there are no shortage of perverts out there that you need to protect yourself from.
Camera hidden in apartment office bathroom
EWING — The superintendent of an apartment complex is suspected of hiding a video camera in the rental office bathroom wall of the complex, according to police.
A 22-year-old female employee of Parkside Court Apartments, located on Parkside Avenue, suspected there was a camera in the bathroom on Monday morning. Fearing her privacy may have been violated, she notified Brian Kramer, who manages the property for owner Halston Builders.
The rental office is located in the apartment of the complex superintendent, Jules Warner, who is expected to surrender to police Thursday after being charged with invasion of privacy.
Kramer said he disconnected the alleged camera hidden inside the office wall and told the employee.
And now for something completely different, seems those wacky Japanese have a penchant for hidden camera shows. We were rolling with laughter at most of these clips.
