Record Incredible Video Of The End Of The Earth With The Vivotek FD8372 IP Camera

    Tuesday, December 4th, 2012

The world will be ending as we know it on December 21, 2012, according to the Hopi and Mayan Indians, and what better way to record the spectacular event of the end of the current world, and the start of the new world than with a Vivotek FD8372 5MP HD Smart Focus Dome Network Camera.

While the end of the world has been predicted many times in the past, we still are here, defying all odds. Remember Y2K? Yeah, not a glitch. EyeSpyPro.com passed the dreaded 1 year curse for any small business a long time ago, and now we are finishing up our sixth year, our best ever, and we were just acquired by DVRSystems.net.

The Hopis and Mayans recognize December 21, 2012 as the end of a world age, and we will be transitioning from one world age to another. The Mayans were an very advanced pole who supposedly developed the most advanced mathematics and astronomy of their day. So even though they could not survive the Spanish taking their land and killing them off, they still believed that this world will end before Christmas!

The Vivotek FD8372 is a kick butt camera from one of the best companies making network cameras, Vivotek. Not only will this 5 megapixel camera record gorgeous 1080p video @ 30 frames a second, it also is IP66 rated. This means it is dust proof and can handle powerful water jets, like when the cyclones strip the earth of all vegetation and human life, this IK-10 Vandal proof rated camera will still be standing there, kind of like the buildings that survived Hiroshima.

Vivotek FD8372 5MP HD Smart Focus Dome Network Camera
Vivotek FD8372 5MP HD Smart Focus Dome Network Camera

The coolest part of this camera is while the world is ending, you can focus in on any part of it with it’s Smart Focus System, which allows you to remotely control the focus on this camera with built in stepper motors. So if it’s Mt. Everest exploding into little bits, or the leaning tower of Pisa finally toppling, the Roman Colosseum collapsing into dust, or just some good Ole’ fashioned mayhem in the streets of NY as the buildings topple into the ocean like the do in all the CGI movies now, you will get a great shot. And when you zoom in, your pictures will be crystal clear with no pixelation, even up to 150+ feet.

And with smart phone apps, you can even watch it on your iPhone as you vaporize. If you are using the Vivotek NR8201 4 Camera Network Video Recorder to record the action, which has a built-in PoE switch and easily configures any Vivotek camera, just make sure you put it in a hardened box underground so when the space invaders arrive in a few thousand years, they can actually watch the action again, and again.

So why wait until the end of the world before you set up your IP cameras, as they are in stock and shipping. Questions? Call me!

    VideoIQ Kills The NVR

    Thursday, August 30th, 2012

We just started carrying the VideoIQ line of smart IP cameras, starting with the VideoIQ iCVR-HD IP66 IP Dome Camera. While you might be yawning and thinking, yet another line of network cameras, you are judging a book by it’s cover. The main reason why? VideoIQ kills the network video recorder with network cameras that have up to 750GB of internal solid-state hard drives, eliminating the need for multiple DVR’s at every location you need to watch over.

This is a industry killer folks, as now you no longer need a NVR to record your cameras. The VideoIQ iCVR cameras have ZERO bandwidth, except for the M-JPEG stream. No video is clogging up your local area network. No longer do you need to set up a separate LAN to take care of your cameras. With the VideoIQ cameras, you record on camera, and when you need to get archival video, you just log into the camera with a browser to download the clips you need for the fuzz. Bottom line? You are going to save a ton of money on your project costs.

Here’s a video for VideoIQ and what they do, VideoIQ Overview

The cameras are a true 1920 x 1080, which gives you a great, wide shot, wider than a 3 megapixel camera, and lets you digitally zoom in to see faces and license plates.

Now you can record on the camera, notify you when there is motion, automatically auto track a person, even though it’s not a PTZ camera, and toss your network video recorder to the trash. How cool is that? For more info on the VideoIQ line of cameras, or to get a quote for your needs, give us a shout @ the number below, or send us an email to: info@eyespypro.com.

The Bush Baby Wireless IP Air Freshener Hidden Camera Sees All

    Tuesday, August 28th, 2012

The Bush Baby Wireless IP Air Freshener Hidden Camera is a network IP camera hidden inside this air freshener that connects with WiFi or a Internet cable to your router, allowing you to monitor up to 64 of these cameras on your computer or smart phone!

No matter if you have to watch your house, apartment, or dorm when you’re not there, or if you want to see what’s going on in you business, then the new line Bush Baby Wireless IP Air Freshener Hidden Camera could be what you need.

We found this YouTube video recorded @ 320 x 240 and it is manually rotated. You can’t see the IR’s, unless you put your mug right in front of them, then you will see a slightly red glow. The video shows the IR’s going on when it hits the plant, as it turns b/w, and when away, they turn off and it’s back to color.

We were really impressed with how this product works, making it now possible to easily watch your hidden camera stream online or using your iPhone or Android phone. While you don’t need a PC to make it work, you do need an Internet connection, and to be able to open a port on that router. You can watch the video on a Mac or PC, though you need a PC to set up the cameras.

The Bush Baby Wireless IP Air Freshener Hidden Camera records in clear, 640 x 480 video at 25 frames per second, and it has built-in Night vision with IR’s that record in low light.

In addition to watching up to 64 cameras, located in one or many locations, you can also have up to 4 people long in to see the streams.

The camera by itself won’t record any video. If you want to record the video, just open a web browser, and on that computer you can record the video. If you are looking for a great Nanny Cam to watch your elderly parents, family, kids, or office, then you might find these of interest, just be able to open a port on your router or it won’t work.

The other models are a Neon Wall Clock, a nice looking fake fern, Exit sign, and speakers.

Make Your IP Camera Stream Video Over The Web

    Tuesday, August 28th, 2012

A company called click2stream has a really cool product that will let practically any new IP camera stream video over the web, and let you watch online, or a smart phone. We found them after a few people wanted to stream their IP Camera from a club to the Internet.

There are 4 levels of service, starting off with free, that will allow you to watch video and audio of your network camera in your house, at a construction site, or your restaurant or dance club.

You can embed the video right into your site, and you can actually charge people to watch if you want, giving them the link to the page later, or let them see for free.

Just make sure your IP camera has either H.264 or MJPEG support, and you will need a public IP address or port forwarding. You can build a web page you can put on your site, and share that page with your facebook fans.

For more info, check them out for yourself.

Push Intrusion Video Right To You With The AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera

    Thursday, June 21st, 2012

We made our first video of the AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera, which is a 1 megapixel IP camera that has some incredible push technology. The AVTech Push technology allows you to monitor your home, office, or any place you want to watch, and when someone comes in front of the camera, it will actually push a 10 second video clip right to your smart phone! Most other solutions just send an email or a picture of the person. With AVTech Push technology, you get the actual video, and it’s not that hard to set up.

The AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera is made by AVTech, one of the leading OEM makers of DVR’s in Taiwan. They have some great new technologies including a self configuring 6 camera NVR with HDMI out, so you can hook up an LCD flat screen TV!

AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera
AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera

The AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera is a high quality IP camera made of metal, has 1MP resolution standard, micro SD card slot, white LED for viewing in the dark, a heat activated motion sensor, microphone, and speaker! All for a little over $200. Quite a lot of quality in a little box. You can even hook up a couple motion sensors or door/window sensors to record when they are tripped.

To set up the push video, you do need to have access to opening a port on your router, and the detailed instructions go over the step-by-step procedure to getting the video to work. If you can’t program a VCR, do not try this @ home folks, get an expert. Otherwise if you can open the port, and find all routers IP address and can follow instructions, you can get this to work.

Here’s a YouTube video we made of what you get, and we are compiling the one of the features as we speak and hope to have it ready by tonight or tomorrow.

If you are looking for a low cost way to watch over somewhere where you are not, and you don’t want to invest in DVR’s or a multi-camera system, then this little camera could be right for you. In stock and shipping…

    CCTV Cameras Are Dead

    Wednesday, June 13th, 2012

Let’s get this out right away, the CCTV camera is dead. IP Cameras have driven a stake through their heart of Analog cameras, and you no longer do we have to look at pixelated, crappy video footage. In the last decade they were great, though for most purposes, they produced totally usless video for law enforcement, and it’s hard to identify pixel man in a line up.

Can you really identify this punk? Hardly. So we got a call from an IT guy who needs help with setting up his clients 8 store locations with cameras. The need 1 or 2 cameras to record money being counted, so we suggest a dome on the ceiling with an 8mm lens to zoom right in. The client was on a budget, and we wanted to show them the quality differences between digtial network IP cameras, and stone age, analog CCTV cameras. We are going to show you why you should NEVER buy any CCTV camera kit at Costco or Walmar, because the video will be garbage, and you might as well toss your money on the BBQ and burn it to a crisp as the video for the police will be worthless.

We wanted to come up with a low cost recording solution, so we decided to quote the AverMedia EH1004H-4 4 Channel Hybrid Network Video Recorder, a great little video recorder that would accept analog and digital cameras. It’s affordable, and with the CMS software, you can access up to 16 different NVR’s, DVR’s with no additional cost, it’s got a great price, and it works with most IP cameras. It’s great for a home, or chain of small stores, or even one store. Three different versions accept four, eight, or sixteen cameras, and with the free Control center software, you can watch selected cameras from up to 16 other NVR’s. For free, it’s great.

So we hooked up one of the new Vivotek FD8136 Mini Dome Megapixel IP Camera, a mini 1 megapixel dome camera, and put on a 8mm lens, and used a SecuNext 700 line dome camera with the same 8MM lens. You tell me which one looks better, then vote in the poll.

We have sample video we will post in the next couple days; just wanted to announce the death of the analog CCTV camera. Call us @ 1-877-339-3779 and we will help you with picking the right cameras and recorders to do the job for you!

Access Your My-See Video In Under Three Minutes

    Wednesday, May 30th, 2012

We set up one of the My-See Indoor IP Cameras, and we were impressed with how easy they were to set up and access remotely. It took less than 3 minutes to get the camera to show up on the My-See control panel. The My-See cameras are VGA resolution IP camera (640 X 480), that offer the ability to store your video in the cloud, and not have to buy a network video recorder. Rather, the camera will monitor your home, apartment, dorm, office, warehouse, or storage room, and to notify you when someone comes in front of the camera.

    My See Indoor IP Camera

    My See Indoor IP Camera

It took us all of 3 minutes to get live view over the net of the camera. We connected the camera to our switch, and powered it up. We then logged into the My-See web site and entered our username & password. What’s really cool is you can view the site in English, French, Spanish, Suomi, Portuguese, and Polish. Just check the radio button for which language you want, and you are logged in.

We were asked to install Active X, if you don’t have it installed already, and then it asked to install some other software. When done, we could see that it was trying to show the image, though it was a blank, and had that little icon in the top left corner that was broken in 1/2, and didn’t see the camera.

At this point, we saw the icon of a little brick wall picture with a flame coming out that says, “No Video? Try here.” As soon as we did, the camera showed up. We are editing a video on the install and will have it on YouTube shortly.

All three versions of the My-See IP cameras are both wired and wireless, and you will need one WAP or wireless access point per location, and you can have up to six total cameras in each location. If you have a chain of stores, this is an ideal way to monitor all your locations from one location, without having to buy NVR’s at each location. Since they are both wired & wireless, you can choose which way you want to connect.

There are iPhone, Android, and Blackberry app’s, so you can pull your camera up on your smart phone, and you can customize your alerts to send to up to 4 recipients when motion is detected, and you can customize the email subject & body, as well as attach a jpg picture or 10 second mp4 video, and SMS text message to your phone, by selecting your carrier from a drop down menu.

There is a monthly plan of $14.95 per camera that will be billed each month, and if you have any questions on the My-See IP cameras, pick up the phone & call us at the # below.

My-See IP Cameras Are Pre-Configured For Instant Internet Access

    Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012

We just added the My-See Video line of IP cameras that come pre-configured for online cloud access, and connect to the Internet in minutes. The My-See IP cameras use cloud technology to store up to 50mb of video per month for $14.95 per camera. You can hook up to 6 wired or wireless cameras at any one location, and if you have multiple locations, this is a really effective way to watch all of them from any Internet browser or smart phone.

The My-See cameras can be used wired or wireless with the My-See WAP. For example, you can hook up to 6 My See Fixed Outdoor Wireless Cameras to a switch connected to your router with Ethernet cable, or have up to 6 wireless cameras connected to the wireless receiver, or any combination of 6 per location. You can purchase the wireless receiver and one camera in a package, like the My See Wireless Pan Tilt Camera and Receiver, and add 5 more cameras.

    my-see-plug-n-play-video.jpg

The My-See Camera are all VGA res CMOS cameras that records in 640 x 480 resolution, 30 frames a second. The video is very clear, and the camera arrives preprogrammed to just work. No port forwarding, no dealing with IP addresses, and you do not need to be a techno geek to get it to work!

You don’t need a DVR or NVR or computer, it’s all in the cloud. Record 10 second clips, and receive alerts via email, text, and MMS. Works with the iPhone, iPad, Android, or Blackberry apps! View your video live, no matter where you are in the world. For more info, call us @ 1-877-339-3779 or click this link to view all the My-See IP Cameras.

The AXIS P8514 Covert Network Camera actually is hidden in a pipe like object and points right an average persons face. And the best part about it is that no more surveillance video of a guys hat!
