Add A 90 Hour Battery To The SleuthGear iTrail GPS Logger

We just found a long life battery for the SleuthGear iTrail GPS Logger. Now you can put the little GPS Logger into a weatherproof case that has a 90 hour battery. That means you can run the iTrail vehicle tracker for an additional 3.75 days, in addition to the 30 hours of the internal battery, for up to 5 days of tracking.

The iTrail Vehicle logger is a great way to track where any vehicle has been, when you do not need real time tracking. Real time trackers require a monthly fee, and some people don’t really need live tracking. A GPS logger has to be taken off the car, and plugged into a PC to upload the data when you are done. Then you can pull up reports based on date, or when it went in or out of a location we call a GeoFence.

Just charge up the battery, and the iTrail, put in the case & close it. Put under the bumper of any vehicle, and after few days, take it off, and upload to your PC. Easy as pie, and a great way to keep track of your child to see if they are going places you don’t want. It’s super small and fits in your hand, though don’t let the small size fool you; its capable of recording video, tracking vehicle location, and telling you all the drivers habits.

Dual Camera Vehicle Blackbox GPS Logger With G Sensor Recorder And Audio

The benefits are 2 cameras, one watching out front, the other watching your driver. You can watch both after the fact. It also has a built-in G sensor that will tell you when he is accelerating, decelerating, speeding, hits a bump or gets into an accident. Everything is saved to reports you can access on your PC.

Fluid, 640 x 480 video is very clear at 24fps. You get about an hour or so per GB, and accepts up to a 32GB full size SD card.

While the (night) quality isn’t as good as daylight videos, it is more than adequate for our purposes. The in cab view has a greenish tint to it, but is more the ok to observe driver behaviors. The out the dash view is excellent in more urban environments where there is of course more ambient light. In rural areas it is dimmer but certainly usable.

Also, since we started using your cameras we have been involved in 2 minor accidents with camera equipped vehicles, and in both cases the cameras 100% vindicated our drivers.

iButton Employee Tracking System

Eyespypro.com now offers iButton Employee Tracking for companies that have multiple employees, and want to know when they start and finish working. Initially, we were contacted by a Kindergarten cleaning service in Europe, who wants to know when his cleaners come & go from the schools.

The requirement had to use the iButton technology, and the only tracker we had that used the 1 wire function, was our M30Q GPS/GPRS unit, which is really a fleet tracking system for vehicles that can accept temperature, fuel, and other vehicle tracking features, including only allowing the iButton to start the vehicle.

And for $29.95 a month, you have unlimited access to real time viewing of where and when they log in, as well as reports for up to 32 iButton’s per tracker. You can pull up a report on each employee, and each time their iButton touches the OM iButton sensor above, it will record the info on a remote server you have access to for reporting and real time info, since it’s a live tracker with a SIMM card inside it.

You can install this in a vehicle, or mount in a secure place, and run a wire to the iButton that can be embedded in a wall, door jam, or other entrance locations.

This can be used for security guards to have them "log-in" for each time they perform a patrol of a location, and when they end. I was sitting on a fence at a local shopping mall watching all the Guido’s coming out of a restaurant, and saw a guard come up to a dot on the wall and put his keys to it. At the time, I had no idea he was login in his time at that part of his patrol of the strip mall.

You can also install this is a vehicle and not only can it over-ride the ignition and not allow anyone to start the vehicle without it, it will also tell you when they start and stop and leave, so you can fully track their every movements. The tracker has a ton of other fleet management features, though for this need, we only need the iButton tracking.

So if you have an application you want to monitor when someone comes & goes, an iButton Employee Tracking system like this is an easy way to go.

Track Their Every Move With The SleuthGear iTrail GPS Logger

SleuthGear just released the worlds smallest GPS logger called the iTrail GPS Logger. This tiny gps device will allow you to see where it has been, how long it stayed, how fast it traveled, all overlayed on a Google terrain map.

The iTrail is a GPS Logger, which is different than a GPS Tracker. A tracker allows you to watch a vehicle or person in real time over the Internet, no matter where the tracker is. It requires either a monthly service, like a mobile phone, or you pay per use.

A logger is for after the fact, because you have to connect the logger to a computer to upload the data. And, you don’t need a monthly plan; there are no fees to upload the info to your PC. None work on Mac’s, unless you are running Windows in an emulator.

So if you want to see where your lover goes to every Wednesday night, now you can find out. If you want to make sure your child is not hanging out on the wrong side of town, now you can. If you want to make sure your employees are not stopping @ the bars, now you can. Just set it up and put it inside the vehicle, or pick up a waterproof magnetic case, and stick it under the vehicle or in the engine compartment, then pull it off later, upload the data, and confirm or deny your suspicions.
