It shows the actual camera footage from the front and rear cameras. What we forgot to mention is that this is also a good way to watch your car for vandalism, as it will catch anyone trying to key or damage your car also.

You can see where you have been on the entire trip, including where you went, how long you stayed, your average speed, if you were accelerating, decelerating, or if you hit some bumps in the road.
