Portable Spy Camera Solar Charger 2850mAh

You can choose two different models, depending on your needs. We are charging up both, and will put them through their paces. The Portable Spy Camera Solar Charger 2850mAh is the bigger of the two, and should be more than enough to get the job done. A mAh stands for Milliamp Hour, a technical term for how much power a particular battery will hold. Digital camera batteries with higher mAh values theoretically last longer without requiring a recharge

Portable Solar Charger 650mAh

The Portable Solar Charger 650mAh is smaller, with a lower , though we’ll post the results on tests with a PI Camstick, and a DVR Spy Pen.

You have to charge these solar powered gadget chargers the first them, thereafter, you can use either the sun, or electricity to charge the charging battery next time. Check back in a day or 2 for the results.

By cracky, it recorded 4 hours & 48 minutes of very clear 3gp video with audio at almost 30 fps indoors! This is a record, as most if not all of our other Spy products except for the battery powered Organizer purse or Tissue box, or the professional grade SleuthGear Recluse, CubeCam, or SecureShot Battery Powered Hidden Cameras peter out at the 60-80 minute mark.

And the audio was clear with no murps, moans, or sounding like it’s underwater or from Star Wars. We posted two sample movies on our site for you to download.

It recorded all that to the internal 2GB memory. You can use an SD card that will override the internal memory, if you want to take it with you, otherwise use the included USB cable and the built in USB port to download the video to your Mac or PC; it works fine on Apple computers and Quicktime since it’s the 3gp format.

We just received it and will put it through it’s paces, take pics & make a video this weekend. Until then, here is what we have for pics.

If you are a PI, Copper, concerned parent, teacher, or just need to perform video surveillance, this might be of the easiest we have found to use. It leaves plenty of slots for cigarettes, and you can put some 1/2 cigs in to cover the controls.

If you need a small camcorder for video surveillance or stake-outs, this one is about the size of your pinky, and now can take up to 32GB Micro SD cards. The problem is that the battery only lasts for about 2GB worth of data, so to fill up the card, you have to let it recharge for 3 hours and record more video. And those cards are extremely expensive, as much as the camera, so for now, we will let you order 2-4-8 or 16GB.

Soda Can Hidden Video Camera

For you Coppers, Gum Shoes, or anyone that needs to perform undetected field surveillance, this is your baby; just don’t open the top! Though that might make it more believable…

Charge the Soda Can Hidden Video Camera through the USB port on the bottom with the included USB cable, or 12v adapter for 4-5 hours, and you are ready. Turn the switch on the bottom on, and press the button. A red light will come on, then turn to green in 5 seconds.

Now you are recording clear 355 x 280 video @ 15fps. When you set it down, the video looks extremely clear. Move it around, and like any camera, it will be blurry.

However, your subject will have NO idea they are on candid camera. Upload the .avi video to your PC and burn to a disc for evidence. It won’t work on a Mac, unless you are running Windows on an emulator.

And a man in Huntington Valley Health Care Center in Huntington Beach became ill, and was vomiting. A friend at bedside asked they call the patients family & paramedics. CPR was not started until they came, and he died of a heart attack.

Now this is just 2 out of 1,400 nursing homes in California, so we hope this these are isolated incidents, however, it’s too late to do anything after the fact.
