TS-Market has a wide range of these mini covert audio recorders, though most of them have removable batteries. The A31 has internal rechargeable batteries, which makes this one of the most popular models, as it will run for up to 25 hours of straight recording, up to 140 hours on voice activation mode, and up to 5 months in stand-by.

However, do NOT buy this if you plan on using it 1 or 2x per year as the battery will go bad on you. If you own one of these, or are considering buying one, you need to keep it charged at least weekly or bi-weekly. Do not let it sit for months or it won’t perform for you and it won’t be covered by warranty.

Don’t Store Spy Cameras With Batteries In Them

We want to pass on a tip to anyone who uses an electronic device that requires AA or AAA batteries. We, as well as a few of our customers have had spy cameras and digital audio recorders like the Diasonic Linear PCM Pro Digital Telephone and Voice Recorder, who a customer left the AA batteries inside for a while, and the batteries vomited a highly toxic acid all over the inside of the compartment, getting on everything, making it not work anymore.

So if you have any device, gadget, or gizmo that takes AA or AAA batteries, make sure you take them out if you won’t use them for a while.

The Edic Mini Tiny E60 Can Be Ordered For Take-Out

We had to have a secret spy working for the US Government tell us that TS-Market, manufacturers of the highest quality, discrete audio recorders, released some hard cases to their discrete audio recording modules, which are tiny boards that can record audio, and some are about the size of a SIM card! Up until now, they were just the board, and you had to wire it up inside something.

Now, they put all 3 models in a hard plastic case, so you can take them with you! The TSM Miniature Audio Recording Module Edic Mini Tiny E60 can record up to 50 days, depending on the model.

And you can choose from 300 – 600 – or 1,200 hours of recording. You can connect 1 or 2 audio sources, and can sample between 3.3 and 22 kHz.

While its still running a USB 1.1, you can choose between mono or stereo, and has software correction to compensate for loud noises. The case measures 1.8 x 1.25 x .4 inches, and its about as wide as a tack, as the pic above shows.

If you are looking for discrete, audio recording, these are the top of the line. As always, many states have laws against recording conversations without all participants knowledge, though in public, there is no expectation of privacy.

A Covert One Touch Digital Audio Voice Recorder Pen

We had a call from an attorney who was looking for a digital audio recorder that used a discrete way to record conversations, specifically if he was stopped by law enforcement. Now in some places its illegal if one or both parties are not made aware of this.
