Where Can I Buy A Camball Ball Camera?

We get several calls a week for people looking for the SecureShot Micro Eyes SD Card Recording Ball Camera CamBall, our best selling spy camera of all time.

Yeah, it’s a mature product, though it’s still pretty kick ass. There is nothing else on earth that combines a beautifully clear video camera, up to 16GB of SD card recording, and a battery that can record for 90 straight minutes of video, hours in motion activation.

But why listen to some lizard with 99x zoom PTZ cameras for eyes? Well, here is another client that discovered something about his girlfriend.

SecureShot Micro Eyes SD Card Recording Ball Camera CamBall Accessories

It’s quite a bit, of stuff, and you can extend its use with the three different accessory packs:

The MicroEye CamBall Surveillance Pack, lets you connect your Camball to a wall outlet to record for hours.
The MicroEye CamBall Sports Pack, includes interchangeable brackets and weatherproof covers so you can connect your Camball to a boat, bike, or motorcycle
The MicroEye CamBall Vehicle Pack, lets you power your Camball if you have a hot lighter in your car, or plug-in power supply so you can power Camball all night to record the punk who is scratching your car

You can watch the Camball on a TV, or plug it into a PC. Sadly, it won’t work on a Mac unless you remove the SD card and read the videos. We highly reccomend you not play back your videos from the Camball or you will most likely get studder video. Drag the files to the desktop and play the videos back from the computer for better results.

The Camball manager software allows you to set the Camball up, thought it’s PC only.

When you are done, you can either remove the SD card, put in a SD card reader and watch on a Mac or PC, or plug in the USB cable to your Mac or PC and watch it there. The only thing you can’t do on a Mac is set it up, unless you have Parallels or other virtual machine to run Windows.

We did make a quick video on how to adjust the settings, which we will attempt to post later today on YouTube.

Coffee Travel Mug Hidden Camera Controls And Recording Data

We are putting one of the coolest spy cameras we have seen in years, the Coffee Travel Mug Hidden Camera through it’s paces, and wanted to show you the controls, and recording data so far.

Everything in this covert camera is contained in the top piece, the camera, battery SD card slot, USB port, and controls. It’s not waterproof, so don’t put any coffee in it, though it gives you a spare lid, so you can carry coffee around in it, then when finished, pop on the camera top, push one button for a second, and set it down & you are video recording. How easy is that?

The camera lens is on the edge of the cap with the camera in it.

All you need to do is decide if you want HD video, or VGA video. In our tests with an 8GB micro SD card, we were able to record 2:43 minutes of video in the HD mode. We are out of 16gb and not sure if it will record longer until those chips come in. For now, it breaks up the video into 30 minute chunks, exactly 1.56GB per file, so there were 5x of those, , and a 13 minute clip that was 7 or 8GB.

UPDATE: Using a 8GB card on VGA mode, 640 x 480 @ 30 fps, we recorded 3 hours & 43 minutes of super clear video. File sizes are smaller, we fit 7x 30 minutes files that are 826MB ea, and a 13 minute clip that was 365MB. Since there is 1.81GB available, the battery gave out before we filled up the card. Final test will be with a 16GB card on HD video to see if we get that similar amount of time. I’ll post video clips on the product page.

Here are the controls.

One thing, you have to format the memory card first, you can’t just stick it in & record; nothing will show up. You hold the Format button down for 2 seconds, and with another finger, hold down the On/Off button until the blue light comes on, then release the Format button, and still holding down the On/Off button until the Red Record light starts blink, release the On/Off button. If the blue light is solid, it took, and if it blinks and goes off, its a bad memory card. We could not format one card, and we tried another and it took no problem.

So now you can leave this innocent looking coffee travel mug on your desk, or even inside your car, and for up to 3 hours, you can record video, and find the punk that is stealing from you or damaging your property.

The SmartScouter Covert Black Opps Motion Activated Cellular Surveillance Camera.

The SmartScouter black opps camera is a motion activated, wild game camera that uses a heat activated, PIR (passive infrared) sensor that will trigger the camera to take photo’s of any animal or human that comes in front of it, day or night.

allows you to put a small, wireless camera to watch over property, record video photos day or night with invisible black 940 nanometer Infrareds, and it will send images to an online website for you to review.

While we have a camera already that does this, it records to SD cards that have to be removed or change as they fill up. What makes the Smart Scouter unique is that it sends the photo’s to a server, where you can access them online, instead of having to put your snow shoes on to get your video during the winter.

The SmartScouter nature camera actually uses the Sprint, AT&T or Verizon GSM networks to send the video wirelessly and automatically. The web site is secure, and once you register the camera, if it is ever stolen, it can not be registered to anyone else.
