We found a new supplier and made a large order and we received them yesterday. We anxiously ripped open the box and pulled out the new dvr spy pens from the new manufacturer. The problems have been not being able to get the ones that record in 3gp, which works fine on an Apple computer.

We made a 10 second video and plugged it into our Apple and it’s a 4mp format, not a 3gp format.

UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so frustrating. We could not hear any audio, and Quicktime won’t open it. We can play it back in VLC Lan, though still not audio and errors if we jump ahead.

On a PC, it opens in VLC Lan, but with errors.

We packed them up and they are ready to ship back to the manufacturer.

In the mean time, or main supplier says we can get them by March, so for now, the 3gp version of the Upgraded Spy Pen Digital Video Recorder is on hold and the only one available is the BPR, or Business Portable Recorder, which is the same pen that records in .AVI format, which is NOT Apple compatible. The Apple computer won’t recongnize the pen, so unless you can dump it to a flash drive first, don’t order the BPR if you just have a Mac.

We also have the original Spy Pen Digital Video Recorder, though it’s 352 x 288 video, and we will knock the price down to $99.95!

How Upgraded is the Spy Pen Digital Video Recorder you ask? Well, there are so many, where do I start? How about clear 640 x 480 video? And audio that does not sound robotic or metallic. The youngsters are among almost 5,000 residents who in some cases are being offered £500 rewards if they provide evidence of minor infractions.

One in six councils contacted by the Telegraph said they had signed up teams of “environment volunteers” who are being encouraged to photograph or video neighbours guilty of dog fouling, littering or “bin crimes”.

We can only imagine this crap coming to a city near you. However, with a small device called a hidden camera detector like the LensFinder RF Dual Mode Hidden Camera Detector, you can rat out the rats.

The LensFinder Dual Mode Bug Detector is unlike any other hidden camera or hidden bug detector, in that you can detect hidden microphones, and wired or wireless cameras, in a small and discrete device that fits in a purse or pocket, and costs less than $200.

For finding hidden RF bugs (tiny microphones that transmit your conversation over regular radio waves), which are sold openly in China/Taiwan, the Lens Finder will let you know when it finds one and can detect frequencies between 1Mhz to 6Ghz.

For finding hidden cameras, wired or wireless, the unit also operates as a laser scanner that will set off a series of 4 Bright LED’s that will flash brightly. Don’t look at them, instead point them at where you think a camera lens might be, and look through the protected lens. The blinking lights will reflect back to you when you point them at a camera lens.
