Elder Abuse Runs Rampant In Minnesota Nursing Home

We are really livid to see a group of teenage, punk ass girls abusing elderly people at an assisted living centers in Minnesota. And it’s not one or two, it’s six girls all under 20.

All I can say is I hope they put them in jail for the maximum penalty to teach them a lesson, and let them get their just deserts as elderly abusers from the other prisoners.

We have worked with several assisted living centers to set up camera systems for the patients rooms.

There are many ways to hide a camera, and the most popular is to use something like a fire strobe hidden camera that also has room for an amplified microphone. Now you can see and hear what is going on.

We have a couple dozen hidden cameras that are wired or wireless. Both will require a digital video recorder to digitize and record the video, and are the best way to cover multiple rooms, as you can have as many cameras as you need.

We have Casino grade DVR’s that can take up to 256 cameras, though 8 or 16 channel dvr’s are usually sufficient for small to medium sized assisted care facility, and 16-32 cameras are for larger facilities.

Another good choice to if your parent is in one of these facilities is a self contained unit that you can put in their room, unnoticed. The has a hidden camera that records to an internal SD card. Our favorites is the SecureShot Covert Cube Clock Radio Hidden Camera DVR.

This particular one does not have anything on the outside to make you think it’s a camera. The old versions had lights, slots and holes on the back side, and if anyone picked it up, they would know right away.

With the SecureShot Covert Cube Clock Radio Hidden Camera DVR, you just bring it in, plug it in, and it appears to be a regular alarm clock.

Now, use the remote control to “Set it”, and walk away. You can set it only record when their is motion, so you are not recording dead air, and one has a low light feature that records at night. Come back later, swap out the SD cards, and review the video at home. Burn it to DVD or CD for the police if anything is going on.

So, Diana Mijares decided to secretly bug her daughter’s backpack and was shocked to hear what was on the tape.

“It made us concerned,” Mijares said on “Good Morning America” today. “It was enough and we needed answers.”

Megan Mijares’ digital tape recorded mostly mundane moments at Memorial Elementary School’s prekindergarten class, but then it captured the teacher yelling at the group of 4- and 5-year-olds. All of it happened without Megan’s or her teacher’s knowledge.

“You’re just a bad kid,” the teacher says on the six-hour tape. “You’re mean to me, so I get to be mean to you.”

The teacher, who was not identified, continues to harshly scold the children.

“You are all just stupid kids. I swear to God,” the teacher says. “You are just all stupid kids.”

Senate Can’t Agree On Extending Stifling Surveillance Laws

Wow, the Kansas City Star reported that the U.S. Senate could not come up with the required votes to pass the terrible Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) act we have been reporting on for some time.

SENATE

2. Government Surveillance (S 2248): The Senate, voting 48-45, failed to get 60 votes needed to advance a bill that would expand the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act beyond its original domestic focus to address U.S. government spying on electronic communications in which at least one party is overseas. A yes vote was to advance the bill.

3. Spy Act Extension (S 2248): Voting 48-45, the Senate failed to reach 60 votes needed to advance a proposed 30-day extension of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Congress then used voice votes to extend the law until Feb. 15. A yes vote backed the extension.

While it never does any good because they have their own agenda, letters mailed to Senators by hundreds or thousands of people will at least let them know we are tired of this. I’ll send my letters out tonight of congradulations that those idiots saved our privacy for a few more day.

Write your traitor and demand the Executive branch stop snooping us & to keep voting down this terrible law that will grant immunity to the Telco’s for handing over all your PRIVATE information to the little dictator; we have rights against unreasonable search and seizure that they seem to have forgotten in their greedy little brains; here is the list of Senators and their contact information.

I just read about a new movie called “Look,” which is a glimpse of how security cameras have become so common, no matter where we go, we are on film. Not sure if they are using actual footage, or their own, though the film shows that our private lives are really public, and we are usually recorded up to 200x per day when we go about our daily routines!
