    PI Agent Software Continues To Rip Off Their Customers

    Tuesday, June 26th, 2012

    We warned you that we quit being a distributor for PI Agent software because they ripped us off.  PI Agent software has crappy software full of bugs, and when one of our customers asked for a refund, we refuned their money, and asked PI Agent software for a refund. They ingnored us, and when we filed a complaint with Paypal, even Paypal denied our claim!

    Now PI Agent software continues to rip off another private investigator, even after I warned them not to do business with PI Agent software.

    Here is their email;

    Chris…. boy, I should have taken your advice!  I spent $239.00 on this PI-Agent software buying it directly from the company.  I asked them for a hard copy of the software.  They said it was shipped and they never shipped anything!  I emailed them and they continued to say it was shipped and I should get it shortly.  Then the response emails changed to “we have a downloadable version you can download”.  I insisted on the hardcopy telling them that I did not want a downloadable version.  They said “no problem, we have a hardcopy shipped to you”.  They lied.  They said that I could download the downloadable version and try it out while the hardcopy is enroute.  I did and the downloadable version is so full of glitches it freezes up my brand new desktop.  So I emailed them again and asked them where the hardcopy was.  They didn’t even address the hardcopy issue and wanted to know what the glitches were on the downloadable software was.  Then they stopped replying to my emails asking where “my shipped” hardcopy was.  So I filed a complaint with PayPal to hopefully get my money back.  They are disputing my request for a refund!  I should have listened to you!!

    Do NOT order any products from PI Agent software as you will get screwed!!!

    Push Intrusion Video Right To You With The AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera

    Thursday, June 21st, 2012

    We made our first video of the AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera, which is a 1 megapixel IP camera that has some incredible push technology. The AVTech Push technology allows you to monitor your home, office, or any place you want to watch, and when someone comes in front of the camera, it will actually push a 10 second video clip right to your smart phone! Most other solutions just send an email or a picture of the person. With AVTech Push technology, you get the actual video, and it’s not that hard to set up.

    The AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera is made by AVTech, one of the leading OEM makers of DVR’s in Taiwan. They have some great new technologies including a self configuring 6 camera NVR with HDMI out, so you can hook up an LCD flat screen TV!

    AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera
    AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera

    The AVTech AVN80X 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera is a high quality IP camera made of metal, has 1MP resolution standard, micro SD card slot, white LED for viewing in the dark, a heat activated motion sensor, microphone, and speaker! All for a little over $200. Quite a lot of quality in a little box. You can even hook up a couple motion sensors or door/window sensors to record when they are tripped.

    To set up the push video, you do need to have access to opening a port on your router, and the detailed instructions go over the step-by-step procedure to getting the video to work. If you can’t program a VCR, do not try this @ home folks, get an expert. Otherwise if you can open the port, and find all routers IP address and can follow instructions, you can get this to work.

    Here’s a YouTube video we made of what you get, and we are compiling the one of the features as we speak and hope to have it ready by tonight or tomorrow.

    If you are looking for a low cost way to watch over somewhere where you are not, and you don’t want to invest in DVR’s or a multi-camera system, then this little camera could be right for you. In stock and shipping…

    Questions About The iRecovery Stick That Recovers Deleted Data From Your iPhone or iPad

    Thursday, June 21st, 2012

    We get a lot of calls for the Paraben CSI Stick, which was a great device that would perform cell phone forensics that the average person could use for looking at business or family member phones. Alas, its still not available or coming back for the near future. I keep asking Paraben when they plan to put it back up and here is what they said;

    The reason we discontinued that product was associated with the chips that the circuit boards were designed around were discontinued. The development time to redesign a new operating system and the product around a new chip set off set the potential return of the product so our CEO choose to shelf the product. It does not mean that it will be shelved forever, but that is where it stands now. We do offer consulting services for the other non smart phones that are not supported with our existing Stick line of tools.

    So there you have it. They have launched a slew of consumer level products like the iRecovery Stick Recovers Deleted Data From Your iPhone for the iPhone/iPad, and the Android Recovery Stick for Android phones running 2.2.X or less. It will NOT work with 2.3, and it won’t until later this year.

    iRecovery Stick Recovers Deleted Data From Your iPhone

    With the iRecovery Stick Recovers Deleted Data From Your iPhone, you can recover pretty much any data on the iPhone or iPad or iPod touch like call logs, contacts, web history, SMS messages, etc. It operates as a thumb drive though it only works with a Pee Cee, so if you are 100% Mac, it ain’t gonna work.

    We had some specific questions from some people about the iRecovery Stick, so here they are;

    Q: Will the iRecovery Stick work with any VOIP phone call or other apps that make phone calls, like Viber or similar especially the phone book with addresses, names & phone numbers in the app?

    A: The data is acquired, but it would not be displayed with the iRecovery Stick. We only display the basic common information for proprietary add on tools such as VoIP tools are not displayed.

    Q: Will the iRecover Stick recover information from text messaging aps like TextFree?

    A: Same answer as above. The data would be shown in the raw database state so some of the information such as date time stamps would not be easily displayed.

    The best part is it will recover your back-ups from iTunes, so you can recover deleted data, even if you don’t have the phone. If you have suspicions, then the iRecover Stick is perfect for watching your kids, employees, better half, lover, or parents activity. If you want to see what’s going on with an iPhone, then the iRecovery Stick is what you need.

    CCTV Cameras Are Dead

    Wednesday, June 13th, 2012

    Let’s get this out right away, the CCTV camera is dead. IP Cameras have driven a stake through their heart of Analog cameras, and you no longer do we have to look at pixelated, crappy video footage. In the last decade they were great, though for most purposes, they produced totally usless video for law enforcement, and it’s hard to identify pixel man in a line up.

    Can you really identify this punk? Hardly. So we got a call from an IT guy who needs help with setting up his clients 8 store locations with cameras. The need 1 or 2 cameras to record money being counted, so we suggest a dome on the ceiling with an 8mm lens to zoom right in. The client was on a budget, and we wanted to show them the quality differences between digtial network IP cameras, and stone age, analog CCTV cameras. We are going to show you why you should NEVER buy any CCTV camera kit at Costco or Walmar, because the video will be garbage, and you might as well toss your money on the BBQ and burn it to a crisp as the video for the police will be worthless.

    We wanted to come up with a low cost recording solution, so we decided to quote the AverMedia EH1004H-4 4 Channel Hybrid Network Video Recorder, a great little video recorder that would accept analog and digital cameras. It’s affordable, and with the CMS software, you can access up to 16 different NVR’s, DVR’s with no additional cost, it’s got a great price, and it works with most IP cameras. It’s great for a home, or chain of small stores, or even one store. Three different versions accept four, eight, or sixteen cameras, and with the free Control center software, you can watch selected cameras from up to 16 other NVR’s. For free, it’s great.

    So we hooked up one of the new Vivotek FD8136 Mini Dome Megapixel IP Camera, a mini 1 megapixel dome camera, and put on a 8mm lens, and used a SecuNext 700 line dome camera with the same 8MM lens. You tell me which one looks better, then vote in the poll.

    We have sample video we will post in the next couple days; just wanted to announce the death of the analog CCTV camera. Call us @ 1-877-339-3779 and we will help you with picking the right cameras and recorders to do the job for you!

    The EyeSpyPro 3G Solar Powered Remote Location Weatherproof Camera With IR

    Wednesday, June 6th, 2012

    We recently added the EyeSpyPro 3G Solar Powered Remote Location Weatherproof Camera With IR, which is a remote surveillance camera for locations with no electricity. As soon as you hook up the solar panel to the camera, you are able to snap pictures every 30 seconds, and the motion activation is so sensitive, it detects movement up to 50 feet away, then notifies you. When you want to see the images, you can view your pics on your own secure web page.

    The EyeSpyPro 3G Solar Powered Remote Location Weatherproof Camera With IR has built in night vision illuminators that can also see up to 50 feet away.

    If you have a remote location with no electricity, and you need to put up a camera to watch a gate, pump, or the back 40, this is a great alternative to an expensive solar powered video surveillance camera like this one.

    EyeSpyPro 3G Solar Powered Remote Location Weatherproof Camera With IR

    For rainy days you have 5 days of battery back up in the housing, and you are sent email notifications when you activate the motion activation notification. You an also shoot time lapse photos during the day, so it’s great for a wireless, solar powered construction site camera.

    And the EyeSpyPro 3G Solar Powered Remote Location Weatherproof Camera comes with the SIM card already installed. You can choose 2 monthly plans; $49.95 month for 100 photos, with $0.10 per pic over that, or unlimited pics for $79.95. You can snap all the pics you need during the month with no overage fees.

    If you need to record something in the middle of nowhere, and you don’t want to spend $6,000+, then click here to find out more about the EyeSpyPro 3G Solar Powered Remote Location Weatherproof Camera With IR!
