    Happy Halloween From EyeSpyPro

    Monday, October 26th, 2009

This year keep your goblins safe, & make sure you have a good outdoor camera with night vision like the The VersaCam LiveView Super IR Weatherproof Camera to make sure punks don’t go smashing your pumpkins.

I am sure some people drop a lot of coin on Halloween decorations, only to wake up one morning to see them stolen or destroyed. That would burn my burrito if it was my stuff. If you want a quick and easy way to get set up with a great quality night vision camera in less than an hour, so you can see if any of the local zombies start tearing up your yard decorations.

The VersaCam LiveView Super IR Weatherproof Camera
The VersaCam LiveView Super IR Weatherproof Camera

The VersaCam Super IR is about the size of a coffee can and has a ton of infrareds so it will see well at night. The IR’s glow red, and we put a video here called: What Does An Infrared Illuminator Look Like At Night to show you what they look like.

All you gotta do is run some power to it. They still make those screw in plugs if you have an old flood light you are not using. Then the Super IR will send wireless signals to a little box that gets plugged into a TV or the USB port on your PC. It won’t work on a Mac. Install the Blue Iris software and you can see the camera during the day or night.

If you want to be master of your property, set up a VersaCam Super IR, and sleep safe at night like one of our customers who has a similar set up:

"I wanted to let you that with the installation of the night vision/DVR combo we ordered from you we now feel more secure in our home. There had been some break-ins in recent weeks in our neighborhood. With this system we are able to monitor any activity outside of our home at night while we sleep and when we are not at home. Thank you,"

    George Gray Bloomington, IN

I could not have done better if I made it up myself.

    Oh yeah, I almost forgot…

    Happy Halloween from EyeSpyPro

Now you too can save the universe with the Electronic Listening Device With 10x Monocular!

If you saw the 2nd Transformers movie, there is a scene @ 21:48 where a solider is using this listening device to hear the Decepticon leader.

Spark Up Your Video Surveillance With The Disposable Lighter Hidden Spy Camera

    Friday, October 23rd, 2009

The Chinese keep coming up with the craziest stuff to hide cameras in. The latest is in a disposable cigarette lighter called, what else, the Disposable Lighter Hidden Spy Camera.

What looks like an ordinary lighter now carries a high resolution video camera, a megapixel still camera, and a DVR with 4GB of storage. See if you can see the camera lens in this pic of the lighter hidden camera video recorder

    Disposable Lighter Hidden Spy Camera
    Disposable Lighter Hidden Spy Camera

What the hell does all this mean??? Well, you can go out with a normal looking lighter and record video with audio, or still photo’s. Videos are nice 640 x 480, though it’s 15 fps, so keep it still. The mic is on the bottom, so if you stand it up, it could muffle the sound. It’s got its time & place for the right Copper or PI.

Its funny that a lot of my clients call and say, "Wendell, they are getting wise to my DVR Spy Pen or DVR Spy Watch, and I need something else that I can record the video to."

Yesterday, one guy who works at a medical facility, called yesterday to give us an update. They orignally called and said they were noticing that the Vicodin was missing, and they wanted to find out who did it. They picked up the Red DVR Spy Pen, which we have for under $20, and he was able to catch the janitor stealing the pills. I asked for a copy and hopefully I can post it later.

And he actually picked up the pen and was looking at it while it was recording! They also caught him spanking the monkey, though I have no desire to see that clip…

So if your cover is getting blown by using the same spy pen, check out the ton of new special application spy cameras, only @ EyeSpyPro.com

Manage Your Home Or Small Business Calls With The 340 Hour Secure Digital Telephone Call Recorder

    Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

If you want to take control of your telephone calls, the 340 Hour Secure Digital Telephone Call Recorder is a great way to see all the calls coming & going from your home or office.

If you need to see if your children are talking to the wrong people, or if your employees are treating your customers the way YOU want them to be treated, we have the next generation digital telephone call management solution.

340 Hour Secure Digital Telephone Call Recorder
340 Hour Secure Digital Telephone Call Recorder

Remember the old answering machines that you could store your calls on? You had a tiny cassette tape that would record them one at a time. There was no way to see who called if they hung up, or it was erased. Now, this little box will keep a record of who called & when, or when an outgoing call was made.

It can either record the calls to internal memory, and you can easily upload them to your PC to save them. Includes PC software also, though if you don’t have a computer, it will still work just fine, though I guess you wouldn’t be reading this…

If you want to take control of who is calling in & out of your home or business, then check out the 340 Hour Secure Digital Telephone Call Recorder.

    Can anyone use this???

The Car Camera Trip Recorder Blazes New Trails

    Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

The new items keep coming from our friends in China every day, and my job is to turn you on to them. This one is pretty slick; about the size of a small cube, the Car Camera Trip Recorder is a great way to record where you go in your car, truck, company vehicle, bicycle, motorcycle, or anything else you can mount this little video camera with built in LCD monitor.

    Car Camera Trip Recorder
    Car Camera Trip Recorder

The Car Camera Trip Recorder can take up to a 32GB SD card to record up to 40 hours of video when plugged into a vehicle’s cigarette lighter. It takes large 720 x 480 video, and has a wide angle lens that will see 74 degrees wide and 52 degrees up & down.

And if you can have your car lighter bypassed, you can keep it plugged in to record vehicle vandalism if some punk tries to damage your ride.

If you need an easy and fun way to record your journies and adventures, check out the Car Camera Trip Recorder.

Sniff Out Contraband And Hidden Drugs With The 3 Foot Fiber Optic Scope With LCD Monitor

    Friday, October 16th, 2009

If you are a Copper, DHS, CHP, DEA, IRA, or any other alphabet soup agency, you sometimes have a need to see into tight locations. We have had a lot of interest by law enforcement for the 3 Foot Fiber Optic Scope With LCD Monitor, which allows them to light up the tiniest cracks & crevices, and see what’s down there.

The 3 Foot Fiber Optic Scope With LCD Monitor is a small and easy to use flexible fiber optic camera with white LED’s that can be positioned to snake down any thin or hard to get to crack or crevice. The flexible hose is rigid, yet bends easily, so it will stay in the position you bend it.

3 Foot Fiber Optic Scope With LCD Monitor
3 Foot Fiber Optic Scope With LCD Monitor

It’s got a quick disconnect to attach to the pistol grip that holds the batteries, attaches the LCD monitor, and adjust the brightness. There is a dial where the trigger should be, so you can vary the light if it’s too bright or not bright enough.

You can see in color what the camera sees while you move around. We will be getting in a version that can record the video to SD cards, though for now, it just views the opening for anything that might have been jammed in there like a car vent or behind a dashboard.

We’ll be demonstrating them next week for a large county Sheriff agency in California, and have had great reviews from the other law enforcement branches that have acquired them.

If you need a good way to see what’s inside a tight spot, where someone does not want you to, check out the 3 Foot Fiber Optic Scope With LCD Monitor.

What To Do When Your Spy Pen Is Stuck

    Thursday, October 15th, 2009

There are two ways to get a DVR Spy Pen, DVR Spy Watch, Keychain DVR, or almost every other Spy Camera to work if it appears stuck. All except the PI Camstick, since it does not have a reset port. If it has a reset port, this trick works most of the time to get it going again.

Always start with this method first, as it takes care of most problems.

Just make sure it’s the reset port and not the microphone, as you might ruin it! The manual with the product shows the correct location of the reset port. In our example, we use the DVR Spy Pen that has the port below the status light.

There are 3 steps, and we posted pictures and instructions in our FAQ: My Spy Pen Is Stuck

If that does not work, go to the next method, erasing and reformatting the drive. We made a video on how to do it on a PeeCee called: My Spy Camera Is Not Working. We’ll have one up soon on how to do it on a Mac.

If that does not work, it’s dead or defective, and if you got it from us, we warranty it for 1 year & replace it; just call us for an RMA number. We just had one customer who said his battery died on a PI Camstick, 2 days before the one year was over. We sent him his new one, no questions asked. Everything we have is guaranteed for at least one year, or longer if the manufacturer will cover that time. We’ll also give you lifetime toll free tech support @ 877-3-EYESPY, and even if you didn’t get it from us, we will do our best to help you get your spy pen up & running.

The Fake Rock Cordless Video Surveillance System With Motion Detection Trips Up A Robber

    Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

The Fake Rock Cordless Video Surveillance System With Motion Detection Sensor is a new concept in Cordless Hidden Cameras With Built In DVR that can be used outdoors and require no batteries.

If you have had your garden ripped up, your car keyed, your pumpkins smashed, or your Baby Jesus stolen, you wish you had something that would catch the SOB that did that.

Well now you can folks, step right up and take a look at this innocent looking rock. It’s just a rock, right? Wrong-O Daddy-O! It’s got a hidden camera inside, with a super tiny SD card DVR that is powered by a long life battery.

Fake Rock Cordless Video Surveillance System With Motion Detection Sensor
Fake Rock Cordless Video Surveillance System With Motion Detection Sensor

You can stick it outside, near other rocks outside your home or business, and it’s just going to sit there, quite and stealthy; exactly like me! It’s going to sit there for up to one year on the standard battery (3 years with the super-duper battery), and will only record video when the heat activated motion sensor will detect a living thing moving in front of it. A tree branch or tumbleweed won’t set it off, and it only records while there is motion, if you set it for that. Otherwise it will record for 20 solid hours (80 with the super duper battery), though you will have a lot of dead air.

It will record clear 30 fps video @ 355 x 280 resolution, or 640 x 480 @ 1-12fps, and it can take large JPG pictures which work well also for law enforcement. Take out the SD card or plug the thing into a TV or VCR if you ain’t got a computer, and you are watching your movies. Set up time/date through the TV also, as well as all the other controls. It’s super easy to use, and it comes with a remote control; if I can set it up with these mits, you sure can.

There are no infrareds, so it wont’ work in pitch black, though if there is a little light, it will work well with that. For more information on the Fake Rock Cordless Video Surveillance System With Motion Detection Sensor, or any of our other Hidden Cameras With Built In DVR’s, check out our website.

    Monday, October 12th, 2009

We went out with the latest version of the Updated Spy Pen Digital Video Recorder and took a few field surveillance videos & photos. I have to say, this is some of the clearest video and photos we have seen in a hidden video pen.

    And they are HUGE 2048 x 1536 photo’s that are 28.44 x 21.33 inches!

Take a look at this still photo:

Upgraded Spy Pen Digital Video Recorder

Now here is the deal. When taking a photo, it takes about 5 seconds to cycle, so you gotta hold the pen real still. It seems like an eternity, though for these stunning pics, we will wait.

The video records just under 20fps, and while it’s not real-time 30fps, the images are sharp and crisp.

If you are not happy with the quality of your old DVR Spy Pen, we area having the EyeSpyPro Cash for Clunkers, where we will give you $20 rebate when you send in your old clunker if you get one before October 15th, 2009.

If you are looking for a battery powered, hidden camera at a low price, check out the Upgraded Spy Pen Digital Video Recorder.

Battery Powered Wall Clock Spy Camera Records For 2 Hours Per Charge

    Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

We are bringing in a few battery powered spy cameras, and the recording times are getting better & better. The latest is the Wall Clock Spy Camera With Wireless Remote can record for 120 minutes, is activated by a wireless remote control, and will go up to 3 days in stand-by mode.

We take a normal wall clock that is powered by a AA battery, and put in a camera, battery, and internal DVR with 4GB of memory. We charged up the Wall Clock Spy Camera for 4 hours, and it recorded 3 movies, two that were 50 minutes, and one that was 20 minutes.

Wall Clock Spy Camera With Wireless Remote
Wall Clock Spy Camera With Wireless Remote

All you do is charge it up for 4 hours & turn on the switch & push a button. Set it on the wall in your office or home, and it’s in stand-by mode. Press the button on the wireless remote when you want to start recording.

It will record up to 2 hours of video with sound, including a time/date stamp. When you are finished, push the button on the remote again to stop recording. Then take the included USB cable, plug it in your Mac or PC, and up load the video.

It’s 640 x 480 @ 30 fps, though it appears to be USB 1, so it takes a little while to upload. We will get them to work on that.

If you are looking for a battery powered, hidden camera at a low price, check out the Wall Clock Spy Camera With Wireless Remote hits the mark. As always, never use these for illegal purposes, as you will go to jail when caught.
