    Sleuth Gear Recluse Hidden Camera

    Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

If you are looking for a completely hidden and covert camera for your home or office, check out the Sleuth Gear Recluse Hidden Camera.

The Sleuth Gear Recluse Hidden Camera is a hidden camera and DVR combination that is hidden in a small black plastic box. The box blends in easily anywhere; you can put it on a shelf, under some books, or a counter. Put something on top and no one can tell this is a hidden camera that is recording their every move.

    Sleuth Gear Recluse Hidden Camera

The Sleuth Gear Recluse Hidden Camera records video to SD Cards on an internal DVR. No wires, cables, or anything to let the punk who is robbing you know they are being recorded. It sets up quickly with the supplied remote control, and can be set to just record when motion is detected.

Find out more information on the Sleuth Gear Recluse Hidden Camera on our online Spy & Surveillance store…

Do Public Surveillance Cameras Really Fight Crime?

    Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

A sad story from San Francisco, after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on video surveillance cameras around the city, it’s been reported they are of such poor quality, nor do they have the budget to monitor them, so they sit there, like those plastic owls you put on your roof to scare away the crows.

Only this time, it’s punks on the street that are starting to discover those fake owls don’t do squat.

William Gantt sat in a wheelchair at 16th and Mission on Monday afternoon, almost right under one of the city’s 76 crime surveillance cameras. Gantt, 56, said he was in favor of the cameras in his neighborhood, but was surprised to hear that no one was watching the feed.

“I always thought they were hooked up to a police station and they could see what was going on,” Gantt said.

Nope. That would make too much sense.

No doubt about it, the current crime camera program has problems. The video is choppy, the cameras are immobile, they don’t pick up images well at night, and the process to view a tape is too complicated. No wonder the cameras hardly ever seem to catch anyone doing anything wrong. “Why don’t we just turn them off and sell them for scrap?” asked Police Commission President Theresa Sparks. “That would save some money.”

This is completely different from home video surveillance systems that can help you solve crime because you are the one watching them.

We found a really cool Outdoor Night Vision Camera with a build in DVR!

The Color Day Night IR Camera with Built-in DVR. The Color Day Night IR Camera is a fully contained SD Card recording camera. You power the camera and you can set it up to record only when motion is detected. The Color Day Night IR Camera with Built-in DVR will record all day & night, 24/7/365.

The Color Day Night IR Camera

If you don’t want to set up a computer or DVR, the Color Day Night IR Camera with Built-in DVR might be your next best choice. You do need to get to it to remove the internal SD card to view the video, however, having the SD card inside is a great idea to make it full self contained.

It uses a high quality 1/3 inch CCD camera, and can take up to a 2GB SD card that will record up to 5 hours of solid video. With the motion detection, it can record for hours. It’s fully weatherproof, self contained, and you can adjust the focal point of the video to meet your needs.

If you want a good self contained outdoor surveillance camera that can take a licking & keep on ticking, and not need electricity, check out the Color Day Night IR Camera @ our online store.

Florida Family Installs Surveillance Cameras As Crime Explodes

    Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

In the Crime & Pervert capital of Florida, Orange County, FL, we see that smart families are starting to stand up to the punks and take back the neighborhood.

Family Installs Surveillance Cameras to Deter Crime

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) — Wayne and Lena Badolado moved to the deer pointe neighborhood in Southeast Orange County a year ago looking for a safe, quiet neighborhood.

It wasn’t long before Lena says things got “scary.”

“Cars were being broken into, homes were being broken into, there was gunfire, it was really bad,” Lena said.

Eventually, their home was targeted. Tires were slashed on two of their vehicles. A third vehicle, Lena’s beloved sports car got gashed. “It makes me mad, very angry” she said.

The Badolados joined the neighborhood watch, but they didn’t feel that was enough. So, they installed a surveillance system to watch their home at all times.

“I got one right here…two three and four. This one basically covers the front of my house this corner right there and the five houses in front of me,” Wayne said as he pointed out the cameras.

Each one is strategically placed to catch every movement outside. “At any time I can change the picture,” said Wayne.

We have a good system for people who need to monitor their property with a system that won’t break the bank. We have the 4 Indoor/Outdoor Camera Package With DVR Card, which uses a AverDig DVR card that pops into a recent PC, and 4 good indoor/outdoor wired cameras, cables, power adapters, and software to make it all work.

4 Indoor/Outdoor Camera Package With DVR Card

If you can run some cable and open up the computer, you can set this system up. If you are not good with a screw driver, hire a local electrician to do the work for you.

The CNB cameras have infrared lights so it can see at night and you can watch it all from your computer. If you are looking for a good starter surveillance system, you have a new computer, and you are good with your hands, check out the 4 Indoor/Outdoor Camera Package With DVR Card @ our online store. Telescopic Pole Cameras Catch Contraband, Drugs, And Weapons

    Thursday, July 10th, 2008

We just added two new video cameras that are mounted on telescopic poles called pole cameras. These are used by Law Enforcement, Customs, Border Patrols, Military, Prisons, Landlords, or any organization that needs to inspect for drugs, weapons, or other contraband in tight spaces that humans can’t fit.

The pole camera operates on a simple idea. Put a camera on the end of a long pole so you can see on top of high things, roofs, cargo shipments, under cars and above drop ceilings. There really isn’t any application where a pole camera can not be used.

One of our Video Pole Cameras is USA made and is the best you can buy. It comes with a small LCD monitor and can extend up to six feet, or a twelve foot model is an option for hard to reach places.

    Video Pole Camera

The camera has 4 white LED’s that give it a.5 LUX, which means you can put it up a drop ceiling or a dark cargo container and look above the ceiling panels, or under pallets. Anything the camera sees will show up on the LED screen.

We also found another one from Asia called the Telescopic Pole Camera that has a couple features the one from the USA does not have. It has a flexible end that you can adjust, and LED’s for low light capabilities. What makes this one unique is that it can accommodate a Pocket DVR, like the Law Enforcement DVR, so you can record what you see for later prosecution or training.

    Telescopic Pole Camera

It also allows for a cool set of goggles, similar to the guy from the Fantastic 4 who can burn through stuff with his eyes. The headset offers the ability to see in bright light, so if you are in the field, and you can’t see the DVR, use the goggles and you will see perfectly.

Either one will do the job. If your business or agency can use a telescopic pole camera, visit our site for more information. We accept Government P.O.’s, and always welcome our Governmental contacts.
