Track Your Teenagers Movements In Real Time With A GPS Tracker

    Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

I read a really sad story the other day about a young gal here in Southern California that “borrowed” daddy’s Porsche during the day, and ended up wrapping it around a light pole doing over 100 mph. What’s even worse is that one of the California Highway Patrol photographers has been accused of uploading the grizzly crime scene photo’s of the girl to websites that show those kinds of things. She had been drinking and that could have been a factor.

CHP dispatcher says suit over crash photos of teen put on Web is misguided

Images of body of Nicole ‘Nikki’ Catsouras were circulated worldwide.
    The Orange County Register

LANCASTER – A California Highway Patrol dispatcher, speaking publicly for the first time about a high-profile lawsuit blaming him for photos of a dead teen proliferating on the Internet, said he feels sorry for her family but that he did nothing wrong.

“Why am I here?” Thomas O’Donnell said in a quiet voice as he sat in his attorney’s office. “I didn’t do anything wrong.”

The lawsuit accuses O’Donnell, 38, and another CHP dispatcher of illegally transmitting to the public gory images of car-crash victim Nicole “Nikki” Catsouras – turning her into an online sensation and further traumatizing her grieving Ladera Ranch family.

This brings up the topic of knowing where your teenager or child is at any time. If this girls father had a real-time GPS Tracker like the TrimTraK Real Time GPS Tracking System, you can actually monitor the GPS device in real time, over the Internet. Smaller than a pack of cigarettes, the TrimTraK Real Time GPS Tracking System can be put behind a seat or in the trunk to monitor your car, or your teen’s car.

TrimTraK Real Time GPS Tracking System

Once you arm the TrimTraK, you can start monitoring it. It will send off a signal every five minutes, that you can adjust slower or faster, and you can track the device via any Internet connected computer. Not only does the TrimTrak costs less than other real-time systems, but website subscription fees for tracking server are also much less and based on actual usage.

For covert applications, a custom fitted waterproof magnetic case allows for quick installation under the vehicle or under the hood. The unit can easily be moved from one vehicle to another, and is great for protecting heavy equipment, boats, RV’s, industrial equipment, employees movements, and dozens of other items.

These also act as a real-time LoJack of sorts, as you will be able to track your car, if you discover it stolen. A real time GPS tracker will give you piece of mind and maybe prevent this from happening to your child. Keep aware of where your children or vehicles are at a moments notice with the TrimTrack.

Find our more information on the TrimTrack, and if you order in the next 3 days, we’ll take 10% off the listed price, though you must mention the 10% discount to get it. Don’t wait until something tragic like this happens, go pick up your TrimTracK now!

Mobile Mini Wireless Surveillance DVR – Hidden Camera Detector

    Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

We found a mini Digital Video Recorder that doubles as a 2.4GHz wireless camera receiver. The Mobil Mini DVR will take the feed from a 2.4GHz wireless camera, and not only record it to an internal SD card, it also has a 2.5″ LCD screen to actually view the video for covert field operations!

This makes for a great 1 camera wireless video surveillance system. Imagine all the possibilities with this mobile DVR! If you need to set up a mobile surveillance or counter-surveillance camera, you don’t have a lot of choices, mostly because of it being discovered.

    Mobile Wireless DVR

With the Mobile Mini DVR, just set up any 2.4 GHz camera, hidden or not, and supply power to it. In the field, your only choice is a battery pack, which usually is inside the hidden camera if it is located inside a consumer item. Power the camera, then turn on the Mobile Mini DVR, and adjust the signal. You should see the video right on the screen.

In addition, it doubles as a counter-surveillance hidden camera detector. You can sweep a room with the Mobile Mini DVR and if there are any hidden wireless cameras, it will detect them and display the video on the screen so you can zoom in on it and locate the camera.

You will also be recording the video to removable SD cards, which can be played on your computer. If you need to do some mobile field surveillance, this is your toy. Hook up any wireless camera for a 1 camera, mobile surveillance system, and we will knock $10 off the price of the Mobil Mini Digital Video Recorder if you mention this blog until Feb. 01.

Wireless home motion sensor or outdoor security camera recommendations?

    Monday, January 28th, 2008
    Ryan. asked:

I have a problem with people and friends who want to talk or see me if they can’t reach me on my cell to come outside, they resort to the advantage of being able to come to my back door to my room from my side gate to my backyard and banging on my window and door to come outside. And it’s been becoming a nuisance lately. More and more often they do it at all hours of the night and day. And sometimes I just don’t want to hang out or do anything because I’m usually very tired at the times they want to.

I am a fairly new college student who must, like any other student, get his work done on time and needs to focus on the fact that work is always before play. And I can’t seem to do that with friends that evidently don’t understand that I have work to be finished.

So, I was wondering if there is a product available that can alert me from inside my room that someone is walking through my side gate that I don’t want to know I’m in my room? I’ve seen a few products that looked very tempting at Home Depot that is a basic motion sensor that you attach to the wall or whatever location your needing it in, and the other piece plug into an ordinary household electrical outlet that “beeps” or alerts me that someone is coming around back.
That seemed very basic and a maybe a solution to my problem.

But if there is an outdoor surveillance/camera security system that anyone knows of that is preferably wireless and can deliver the picture to my TV inside, please let me know where I can get one.

Please and Thank you all for your helpful answers!

Embedded Cameras – The Future For Law Enforcement

    Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

There is a growing trend where surveillance cameras are being mounted directly to the body of law enforcement officers in efforts to control crime. With the miniaturization of camera and DVD technology, it’s now possible to wear a visible or hidden camera on your person, and record the information to tiny pocket digital video recorders or Pocket DVR’s

It’s a real-life Crimewatch as police uniforms get spy cameras

SPY cameras are to be fitted to the uniforms of Scottish police officers for the first time, in a new hi-tech initiative in the fight against crime.
The cameras will be in open view on the uniforms or body armour of officers on patrol and will be used to gather evidence to help secure convictions.

Initially, recorded footage taken by the CCTV cameras will be downloaded to a computer, but SCS Security Design, the company behind the scheme, is developing software that will allow images from the cameras to be beamed back live to the force’s CCTV control room.

The small devices are to be worn by officers from the western division of Tayside Police, as part of a trial involving the force and the Perth-based security company.

At the same time, we should be aware of using the same technology in a counter-surveillance mode to monitor Law Enforcement to make sure they don’t violate our rights when they do their job.

An easy way to do that is with a button camera kit. One of our most popular items, and a favorite of Law Enforcement is the MicroPro DVR – Button/Screw Camera Kit. It combines an ultra tiny Pocket DVR, with a hidden camera that you can add a button and run it through your jacket for the ultimate covert counter-surveillance field surveillance unit.

MicroPro DVR - Button/Screw Camera Kit

The MicroPro DVR is one of the worlds smallest Pocket DVR’s on the market. The reason it’s so small is because it does not use an internal hard drive, it records the video onto removable Mini SD cards, that can be viewed later. You can record up to 4 hours of high resolution video on a 4GB Mini SD card, all the way to 45 hours of low resolution video. Small & discrete for all your mobile surveillance needs.

If you need something with more storage space, you need a pocket DVR with an internal HD; we offer the Button Camera/DVR Kit that includes a Pocket DVR with an internal 30GB HD to record hours and hours of high resolution video. Just like the MicroPro DVR, the hidden button camera is powered by the DVR, so you don’t need any battery packs.

    Button Camera/DVR Kit

If you are looking for a mobile hidden camera surveillance system that won’t break the bank check out either of our solutions above, now! Don’t wait, if you go over and order one of these two DVR’s in the next 3 days, we’ll take off 10% off the listed price, though you must mention the 10% discount to get it.

Adjusting To The National Surveillance State

    Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

Found a good article over @ balkin.blogspot.com that points out how we appear to be moving from a post 9/11 National Security State to a Nation Surveillance State. A State where Government at all levels and business cooperate for the benefit of the state to share data that tell them who we are, what we buy, and ultimatly, how to control us.

The most blatent example is AT&T funneling the traffic of the Internet through massive computers looking for who knows what. The Senate is trying to pass a bill to give companies like AT&T immunity from persecution, while the House version (H.R. 1955) supposidly won’t include the immunity provisions. We won’t hold our breath on that one.

And this boils down to three different types of surveillance; Democratic, Distributed, and Metasurveillance.

Democratic surveillance is when everyone has a camera and can film everything, including us filming the government in possible illegal actions (eg: Rodney King beating). Most of us have a mobile phone that can take pictures, and some can take video.

Distributed surveillance is a surveillance camera on every street corner that feeds images back to a central location, and could include the cameras from small businesses, as some programs tie them into Government data centers.

Spyware on your computer, that obtains and sends data about you could also fall under this catagory.

Metasurveillance is “surveilling the act of surveillance or information gathering.” Watching the watchers, making sure the data they gather is not abused and what lawful purpose is it gathered for.

Most of it is out of our control; our Governments will continue to grow more Orwellian in the future. It’s how We, the People deal with it. Will we turn into an England type of Nanny state with a camera in every home (almost), or will we limit the growth and control it?

This will be the most important aspect regarding our civil liberties. The train has left the station; we have to maintain our vigilance if we are to maintain our freedoms. That’s why we offer the spy, surveillance, and counter-surveillance products you find on our website. Check out some of the unique items, and see the different ways you can start to protect what’s left of your privacy.

Mobile Mini Camcorder With Infrared Night Vision

    Friday, January 18th, 2008

We sadly mourn the death of the Matchbox Camcorder. This was a decent, covert mini camcorder or “Pocked DVR” that was under $100 and recorded decend quality video or still pics. However, we just found a replacement; a really cool mini-camcorder with 6 Infrared LED’s to record in low light situations.

    Portable Video Camcorder

There is nothing like having a Pocket DVR with you for when you need to video a funny moment, a serious crime, or to capture police or criminal brutality. The list is endless. I always enjoy having mine with me. While we have not evaluated the ability, we will do that later this month, we just had to share our joy for this with you.

The Mobile Mini Camcorder records 15 fps @ 320 x 240, and can record up to six hours with a 2GB SD card. The battery is rechargable through USB, and that is how you can upload the movies to your PC. It has a high definition mic, and can record in low light. What more do you need in a discrete counter-surveillance device?

Pick up your Mobile Mini Camcorder this week, and we will knock 10% off the regular price. Don’t wait, order your Mobile Mini Camcorder now, before they sell out, as Pocket DVR’s are our best seller…

Some scum bag, low life was caught with a surveillance camera stealing change for the kids at a Ronald McDonald house. Man, that’s pretty low…

Man Caught On Surveillance Stealing Donation Jar For Ronald McDonald House
POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Polk County deputies are searching for a man who stole from sick children.

The FBI Will Start Paying Their Phone Bills – Are You Being Wiretapped?

    Wednesday, January 16th, 2008

I am sure you have read the articles about the FBI forgetting to pay the phone bills on the millions of wiretap lines they are using to monitor our phones. Did you expect anything from the wonderful people who are running our Government?

Well, now it seems they are going to catch up on the payments and finally pay their telephone wiretap bills.

FBI Will Pay Phone Bills On Time To Keep Wiretaps Operating

Top officials said the Department of Justice will improve controls over financial programs including confidential case funds and other telecommunications costs.

    By K.C. Jones
    InformationWeek
    January 15, 2008 11:22 AM

The FBI has promised to get its act together enough to pay its phone bills on time so its surveillance activities aren’t interrupted due to non-payment.

Assistant Director John Miller said the Department of Justice’s Unified Financial Management System should improve controls over financial programs including confidential case funds and other telecommunications costs.

“While there is widespread agreement that the current financial management system, first introduced in the 1980′s, is inadequate, the FBI will not tolerate financial mismanagement, or worse,” Miller said last week in response to a recent audit showing that the FBI was late to pay more than half of 990 payments analyzed.

What was that last line? The FBI won’t tolerate wasting our money????? Hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahah, that is a knee slapper! Go pick up The Government Racket 2000: All New Washington Waste from A to Z by Martin L. Gross over @ Amazon and read about the billions and billions of dollars wasted by the people running our Government.

Then, when you are really pissed off about all the tax dollars of yours wasted, and that they want to wiretap every phone in Amerika, maybe, just maybe, you might want to start protecting your privacy like I have been saying for months now.

Start with a really great item we found called the Telephone Tap Nullifer. This little box will hook up to your phone line and defeat those wiretap! It also acts like a Jammer, to jam any listening devices that use the telephone line to listen to room conversations.

    Telephone Tap Nullifier

It monitors the line voltage on and off hook, so you will know when someone else is listning. It stops automatic recorders, alerts you to when another line, or a lineman connection is listing, and will automatically deactivate any parallel line transmitters.

Find out more information about the Telephone Tap Nullifier on our website.
