    Martial Law Survival Guide

    Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

Well, I read this blog called The Bacon Report, which claims to trim all the fat away, so I don’t have to. I like that, and this is a good article that we hope we never need. So file it away for the future and pray Ron Paul is our next President so this never happens.

    From The Bacon Report:
“This article will start off assuming that the Reader (you) is already subject to MARTIAL LAW; that is, the “suspension” of the Constitution. Curfews, rationing of basic goods, enforced relocations, confiscation of firearms and supplies, and summary arrest/execution by soldiers, paramilitary police and other jack booted chumps in black wielding assault rifles. Basic survival tips will be followed by more detailed ideals on how to counter this coup against the American People (more).”

    The Postman Always Rings Twice…

    Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

You never know who will come to your front door these days; it could be a police man, delivery driver, or a bear! It could also be someone up to no good. If you are a single women, mother, elderly, or just want to know who the heck is knocking at the front door, there is a nifty little product that can make your life easier. The Peep Hole Door Camera is a color camera that replaces the standard peep hole in your door. Now you can see who is there, and they will have no idea you can see them.

Just set the Peep Hole Door Camera in your old peep hole, then grab the 25 ft. Plug & Play chord & plug it in to the included AC adaptor to power the video feed. Plug the video feed into a monitor or old T.V., DVR recorder, VHS recorder, or the video input on your computer. It can even plug into a camcorder. Then you are ready to start recording.

The camera uses a 1/3″ Sony Super HAD CCD chip, which gives good results in low light situations. CCD chips are your best choice for low light video. The resolution is 380 lines, and it records either to NTSC or PAL.

While this should not be your surveillance system, it’s an inexpensive way to see who’s at the front door, before you open it up and realize you should not have. Order the Color Peep Hole Camera and never have to worry about who is at your front door.

    Stay safe…

Another Reason To Arm Yourself With A Hidden Camera Detector…

    Friday, October 26th, 2007

It seems like every other post is about some sick-o who likes filming women taking off their clothes. We can’t believe how widespread the problems are with these perverts. So we keep telling you about our types of hidden camera detectors top protect your privacy.

Now we have a foot doctor in Illinois who was taping himself having sex in the waiting room with clients he might have been giving prescription drugs! He also filmed the patients changing into their gowns.

Enough is enough; we just picked up a great little hidden camera detector, the Pro Extreme LaserScan Hidden Camera Locator. This little product appears to be the most powerful detector/locator of wireless or wired hidden cameras on the market today. The Pro Extreme LaserScan uses two high-power, alternately pulsating laser frequency beams that scan for hidden camera lenses up to 50 ft. away.

Any hidden camera will be easily and quickly located and viewed as bright flashing red lights by simply looking into the optical glass view port. Since the laser frequencies focus in on the camera lens reflectivity, “false” alerts are a thing of the past.

The Pro Extreme LaserScan locates ALL kinds of cameras, including pinhole and cameras hidden inside objects such as clock radios, smoke detectors, motion detectors, etc. This really is a “must have” tool for women police, private investigators, security professionals, or virtually anyone that that wants privacy assurance. No special training required, just turn it on and look around the room. If you see blinking lights, you found the camera.

It is powered by 4 AAA batteries and uses Dual High Power Red Laser Frequency LEDs to find the targets. It weights 5.2 oz, and measures 3.937 in. x 1.969 in. x 1.299 in.

Don’t be caught with your pants down! Use the Pro Extreme LaserScan to quickly scan a room for hidden cameras before your butt is all over YouTube. We will knock off 10% for the first 10 orders.

Need To Know Where Someone Has Been?

    Monday, October 22nd, 2007

If you need to know where a loved one, or employee has been during the day, you need a Historical GPS Loggers. GPS Loggers are used to find out where a vehicle has been during a certain period of time. It gathers and stores GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite signals, showing the exact location visited by the vehicle, how long it was there, speeds en route, and the time the vehicle left each location.

If you want to see where a vehicle has been, you can map the rout with a GPS Logger. These are good to see if your drivers are staying in their routes, or going to places they should not be. They can also track your lover or spouse, and are helpful to record your travels around an area.

The Trackstick II is the perfect fit for personal GPS tracking. Bring it on vacation to keep a satellite scrapbook of all your travels and record your explorations. You can carry it along on all your regular outings from home to get a better sense of your daily surroundings through Google Earth’s cohesive 3D maps of your community.
With Trackstick II a computer screen can guide your family and friends on a virtual tour of your vacation, or track the movements of employees, children, or lovers/spouses. Take it fishing and mark the catch spots to discover feeding patterns over time. Find a good camping spot and leave it to TrackstickTM to remember where it is and the path you took to get there.

It’s a fun way to show others where you’ve been. You’ll even enjoy seeing the normal routes of your day breathe new life as you view them like never before with Google Earth’s 3D model of the planet. The possibilities are endless and our users are always finding new and interesting uses for the Trackstick.

This device is conveniently powered by just two (2) AAA batteries. Proprietary low power GPS technology will keep the Trackstick II running for up to a full week and the 1Mb flash memory ensures that the Trackstick II will log weeks or even months of travel histories.

If you need to track the movement of a vehicle, family member, or just want to record a vacation or place you need to get back to, the Trackstick II will do the job. We will take an additional 10% off the already low price until the end of October for any of our subscribers.

“Roll Your Own” Video Surveillance System

    Friday, October 19th, 2007

If you are looking for a video surveillance system to monitor your home or business, you better be prepared to shell out over $1,000 for a very basic and limited system, to over $5,000 for state-of-the-art digital video recording systems.

If you are on a limited budget, that is not an option, however, if you have an extra or not too old PC laying around, you have the makings of a “roll your own” digital video surveillance system. By adding a few inexpensive items, you can put together a system that will do the job for home or small business needs on a budget.

The system will be based around that spare or old PC of yours, though it can’t be more than a few years old. A ten year old computer would not work for this, though I just picked up a used Dell on Craigslist for $200 complete with Windows XP, and I am sure you could find similar bargains on eBay. We will start with the most obvious parts, the cameras.

There are some good deals on dome b/w wired dome cameras. We are on a budget, so the b/w wired ones cost much less than colored wireless. You want to pick the best locations to film, so you start with the front and back door. These are not outdoor cameras, so they have to be placed inside, pointing at the door. You might want to put another one in the kitchen and the bedroom at home, or at the back of the store and the office if a business.

Sony makes a great mini dome camera that is only 3 inches across and records excellent quality b/w video, even in low light conditions at night. It is easy to install on the ceiling, in the corner, and you can run cable down from the attic. Each one sells for $44.95 dollars x 4 = $179.80 for your best price on cameras.

You will need a DVR card to record the video, and GeoVision has a great one for this purpose. This converts the video to digital, so you can save it to disc. It also will let you monitor the connection over the Internet, so you can see what’s going on when you are not there. Open the computer, carefully insert the card, and restart the computer. Install the software and you can start monitoring all cameras, and set it up to monitor it over the internet. They cost $179.95 for the 4 camera card.

The final thing you need is cables to connect everything together, 50 ft rolls are $19.95 x 4 = $79.80.

Now you have what you need to “roll your own” digital video surveillance system. The cost is $439.55 if purchased individually, though if you order the “Roll Your Own” system, we will slash the package down to $399.95. You can still pick up the items individually if you need only some of them, or you can upgrade to 8 cameras, or wireless cameras, or hidden cameras.

    How do wireless microphones work?

    Thursday, October 18th, 2007
    JESUSfreakPUNK asked:

I want to make a short film, but my Vado HD camera has poor audio quality.

The Vado doesn’t have an audio jack for microphones, so I need a microphone that can run on its own and import into my mac later…

Is this how wireless microphones work?

    Counter Surveillance Tip #42

    Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

I saw a video clip about these poor people, the Aspens, in Maple Grove, Minnesota who moved to their ideal retirement home, with a lake in the backyard. They were enjoying retired life and using their boat, they put in a small retaining wall at the waters edge I guess to keep things in place & have a place to dock up to. They made the mistake of not applying for city zoning permits until after the fact. Then all hell broke loose with their neighbors.

The whacked out neighbors started spying on them, blasted them with loud music, flooded them with bright lights at night, put up cameras pointing at them, even telling them they would make their lives miserable. Why the retaining wall was their concern is beyond me. The evil neighbors would do anything they could to annoy the couple, like blow the leaf blower for 6 freaking hours while they had outdoor parties for their children.

These people must be really dumb, as the guys wife one time was just beating on a bucket for a long time under their bedroom window, and the people were able to get a misdemeanor against the women. These people are nuts!

Then, the neighbors installed huge windows to spy on these people. Enough is enough they said. They fought back with one of the funniest, and low tech counter surveillance techniques I have ever seen.

They planted a row of large trees to block the view of their property with an impenetrable wall from street level cameras or nosy neighbors. Not only will you have so much privacy you could run around naked, you will have the upper hand on out-of-control neighbors.

The funniest part was the interview with the cross-eyed, buck toothed attorney for both neighbors on either sides of the Aspens. When asked why his clients don’t leave the Aspen’s alone, he replies, “I disagree with the premis of your question, you are assuming they have done anything to the Aspens.”

After years of litigation, attacks, threats, 60 police calls and 10 lifetimes of stress, it looks like all of the neighbors might finally be kissing and making up. Uggghhh! Protect yourself from nosy neighbors.

    The Hidden Spy Camera Lighter

    Monday, October 15th, 2007

You never know when you need to take a picture of something, and you don’t always have your camera around. If you perform covert operations, you need cameras that don’t look like a camera. We found a Hidden Spy Camera Lighter that looks like an ordinary lighter, yet is very capable and produces decent photographs for such a tiny package.

The Hidden Spy Camera Lighter looks like an ordinary, old fashioned lighter, yet holds a hidden digital camera that will record 30 SVGA or 104 VGA quality pictures. You keep the hidden spy camera lighter in your pocket until you need to photograph your suspects. Pull out a cigarette and your hidden spy camera lighter and pretend to light your cigarette, all the time you are photographing your subject and he does not even know it.

Or you find the documents you need to copy for Headquarters; pull out your hidden spy camera lighter and snap away at the classified documents, then upload them later to the central computer for final analysis. Or just take a picture of your partner or child, whenever the mood feels like it. No need to lug around a heavy camera.

The hidden spy camera lighter is small, fits in a pocket, and you always have a good quality camera within arms distance. We will knock another 10% off the price if your order during the week of 10.15.07.

Stay safe and protected & always be aware of your surroundings.
